We really enjoyed our stay here, the only negative was all the stairs we had to climb. As for staff - Marco at reception was very helpful and kind. If you are fit, this is the place for you 😉

Nice people, great location, good pool and a good breakfast buffet-what more can you ask for. Had a great time at the Orchidacea Hotel. Most of the staff at the reception are friendly, as are the room cleaning people. The location is just steps away from the beach although you need to cross the Kata Mama restaurant (best beachfront restaurant prices around) to get to Kata Beach. Some may not realize, the most beautiful beach on Phuket is just up the hill on the right side of the hotel. Although the first 150 meters can be torturous, the downhill path down the cement stairway leads to a fabulous beachfront and crystal clear water, which is the reason you have come to Phuket, right? The waves can be rough but the water is perfect and the Orchidacea is the best alternative to paying exorbitant asking prices at the hotels on Kata Noi Beach. Hey, the little hike is good for your health right? Life doesn't get better than a good breakfast at the Orchidacea, a day at best beach around and a nice dip in the pool to wash the salt off! Enjoy!

Very friendly greeting at the reception counter. Good access to Kata Noi and Kata Beach. Good breakfast. Rooms well cleaned. Nice sized pool and pool side massage service for those tired of the beach.
