The localization was very good, near the beach, restaurants an stores. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The bedroom was clean and organized . The kitchen was clean, organized and had all utensils available.

Great hotel, very close to everything. Would love to stay again

The location is great. We were close to a ton of dining and shopping options. Every evening when we came back to our room it had been serviced. We really enjoyed our stay at the Luana. The only con for us was the hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment. This hotel really needs to be updated. For now, for us, it’s not a dealbreaker. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. It’s nice that there’s not many hotels right by it so the view is wonderful. We stayed in a partial ocean view room. Hotel is old though, it’s okay as 3 star but if they want to be a 4+ star I feel that it needs upgrades. Towels were old and had stains on many of them so that made me feel grossed out. Staff were friendly and nice. Location was superb. Not in a busiest area but 7mins walk to the downtown core which was perfect. 24 mins walk to the Ala Moana Center which was great, too. Overall, fair pricing for the condition and I may stay for one night stay here and there but I’d rather stay somewhere a bit more cleaner if I have to stay more than a night.

Very convenient to public transportation, walking distance to the beach, and bear shopping. Rooms are old and there were cockroaches in both rooms we stayed.

Our stay included 20 family members and the overall experience was excellent. I initially thought that because there were so many of us that there would be issues, but that was not the case. Everyone told me that they would surely stay here again if given the opportunity.

The room is clean and great, very worthy for the price. The view is amazing.

The hospitality was wonderful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but would have been pleased to stay our entire trip. We will return in the future.

I appreciated the extra things, like the Monday and Wednesday afternoon social times.

The room was fine, but the parking was very expensive the cost of which is not posted. Also when I tried to leave @ 11:00 there was a parade and the parking service as well as the front desk was not allowing me to get my car to catch a 1:30 flight home. All they could tell me is that there was nothing they could do and only after I got angry and created a scene did the attendant talk to parade officers and they were able to guide me out. What kind of city and hotel establishment did not care if I missed my flight? Seems like they would make accomodations and not shut down businesses.

People at front desk are not too knowledgeable or helpful. I wanted to visit Diamond head and do their hike, so when i asked, the front desk man said, “just google on how to make a reservation”. Once the day for my hike came I had purchased the wrong ticket. The shower had hair on the walls as if it hadn’t been cleaned all the way. The tub was slippery as if it hadn’t been scrubbed properly. The sliding door curtains were filthy and stained as if they’ve never been replaced. The pillows smelled like sweat as if they weren’t replaced since last guest. I went downstairs to get a workout and there was a dead cockroach next to the yoga mats. I probably will not be staying here again nor will I recommend it to friends or family.

This was such a great stay. Had the 12th floor suite with a balcony and view of city and ocean! I’ll definitely be returning and staying at Luana Hotel and Suites! Thank you for the great visit!

Walkable to beach & shopping, yet less crowd

I chose this hotel for its convenient location, and Expedia VIP status. The VIP never happened, no perks were offered, my check in was very stressful, room on the lowest floor. Will not be returning again.
