The hotel was undergoing renovations and so I was on a first floor where the renovations continued. I am usually very pleased with this hotel, but not the room location this visit.

We had a lovely stay. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking around Victoria. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Parking was easy and above ground. The staff was friendly. We had an excellent stay and found the hotel to be very good value.

The room I had was very recently renovated. It was super clean, comfortable bed and bed linens. The bathroom was spacious, new tub, flooring, vanity. Towels were of good quality. The buffet breakfast was excellent and well stocked each morning I was there. Lots of variety of hot and cold breakfast offerings. The supervisor was excellent; he was teaching summer students their job. He ensured they were being properly trained to ensure excellent customer service. The buffet area was constantly being cleaned, and fresh items were replenished immediately. Front desk staff were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping staff also friendly and accommodating.

Room was clean and we enjoyed the balcony! Could see the deer on the grass. Great breakfast!! The pillows and sheets weren't great - pillows were very squishy and sheets were very stiff and uncomfortable. Sad to discover there is no pool. But great location, we could walk to many things! 3 min walk to Victoria harbor front! 10 mins walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. 15 mins to Beacon Hill! Great location, so I would stay here again.

Expensive but quiet, great view, good breakfast.

The place was a block off the wharf and very close to everything that we were looking to see in downtown Victoria.

Room was super small room and everything was old like 1980s in the hotel. Nothing modern there however the most disappointing thing was the breakfast. There was no raisins or nuts for the cereals and coffee was horrible. Scrambled eggs were totally unappealing and didn’t even think it’s possible. Everything else tasted equally awful. Additionally, there was a $25 parking charge however I would have been ok if there was enough space for my truck. I had to somehow manage with a cringe parking space. Do not recommend Embassy Inn for families or anyone looking for a decent night sleep and morning breakfast. Disappointed stay.

Very good location and quiet rooms. Clean and simple but very functional and you have everything you need for a couple of days

Parking on site was $25 per night and after 7 PM was full. My room was on first floor and very noisy.

Location was great. Clean room. Helpful staff. Lots of parking.

Breakfast was excellent. This is one of the best hotels that we’ve ever stayed in. We stayed 1 week this year and 1 week last year. God willing we will be back in 2027!

Very good value. Perfect location. Very quite and you can walk to most everything. Harbour House Restaurant is just around the corner, and if you want fine dining strongly recommend it.

Nice staff, clean properly with central location but the sheets may need a little more TLC. You can walk everywhere. Parking lot has only one side covered with camera monitoring and I think they need to cover the whole lot. The breakfast was decent enough. I like it.
