The hotel has nice grounds and is set in a secluded peaceful area just outside Vilamoura. Unfortunately, the hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The majority of rooms are in the garden and suffer from a variety of bugs getting into the rooms. We had 6 garden rooms and 4 had some ants crawling around. 1 had an ant infestation which made its way into the occupiers suitcase and 1 had cockroaches in his room. The newer an more up to date rooms are in the main building. These are an Upgrade but they too have issues. The AC units barely work in high heat and the showers are a joke. It would take an engineer to figure out the exact millimeter adjustments to the hot and cold faucets to get a decent shower. Our entire group had either scorching hot showers or cold showers for 4 days. When we complained, the hotel laundered the clothes for the guest with a suitcase filled with Ants and upgraded us to the newer main building rooms after 2 days. But despite many assurances and promises of a resolution, none has been given. The hotel manager didnt even have the decency to come and speak with us let alone apologise. This hotel is 3-4 star at best and should be thought of as such.

Really lovely hotel. Although there was a clothes shop within the hotel it would have been good to have a small convenience store for water, snacks or even a vending machine. Although drinks and snacks were available at the pool bar, they were expensive. Also didn’t like that a service charge was added at every single transaction. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Nothing was too much bother. In particular when my son got badly sunburnt, I had asked about a nearby chemist but they were kind enough to give me cream which worked wonders. The location is out a bit from any sort of bars/shops. However it was only a 15 minute walk and the Ubers were very reasonable. If you are looking for a relaxing, slow paced break away from the hustle and bustle or a keen golfer this is a great hotel to stay at!

We've stay here several times and normally find the hotel. Very good service and value. However, we reported a leaking toliet and water all over bathroom floor. We asked twice for it to be fixed. We're told it's fixed but it wasn't.

Lighting in rooms was a bit lower than i was used to

The facilities are very good and the accommodation is spacious and has everything you need. We found the beds a little hard and the accommodation will benefit from a freshen up in the near future. The staff were fantastic! All so friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant and went exploring Quarteira and Vilamoura in the evenings instead.

We had the BEST time at this resort!!! The resort was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the staff was so amazing and accommodating and even provided a birthday cake without us requesting so it was such a lovely suprise. I can’t recommend this place enough and I’ll definitely be coming back every summer from now on.

Excellent service from Rita Carvalho, hotel manager and her crew. Special mention to Nicole the guest manager who was always so helpful.

The indoor swimming pool and sauna needs improvement.

Superb. We felt really relaxed! We only had access to Uber from the resort as it is a distance from the old town/city, but we loved every bit of our stay!

The buffet dinner was the worst food I can remember eating in a hotel or restaurant....EVER! The room was good, we took 2 dogs and were charged an outrageous €25 for each. The staff were disinterested with the exception of the sommelier in the restaurant who was terrific.

Not a 5* by any stretch of the imagination. Garden rooms dark and dreary and pathways unsafe due to uneven surfaces and poor lighting. Hotel rooms a bit better but poor Aircon and issues with plumbing

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, very comfortable being there. Would recommend staying there away from the city life.

Gorgeous rooms, lovely pool, terrific breakfast every day, nice bar, and the staff were sheer perfection.
