I accidentally booked my stay at the wrong Campnile hotel but they were all very kind to help me fine the correct bus to get there. It was late at night when I arrived and they were very kind.

Excellent property

The highlight is the location, very close to the EM-Lyon. Nonetheless,

Rooms are old. Towels were missing.

Was nice enough.

We always stop here for 1 night on our way back from the South of France. It is a good close to the motorway stop off in Lyon. Good breakfast and average evening meal.

Room and hotel quality was poor. Desperately needs a full refurbishment. Kitchen was closed due to a fire. Aircon in the room was like a pneumatic drill. Front desk guy was great.

Hotel is not very easily accessible by public transport. Room is small and congested. Room and washroom have many small and big spider and spiderweb. Reception was helpful and courteous. It is poor value for money accommodation. Try staying towards city, as there was many good options and better value for money hotels are there.

It is a perfect location for my business trip. However, it is a matter of expectation management: If you are told there is air-conditioning before booking in the hotel description, it would be totally shocked when you realise there are NONE (summer in Lyon). For the rest, if you expect a chained hotel you would be again disappointed. It is better considered as a budget hostel or motel.

The location was obviously excellent for my visit to the university. The room was adequate---bed, storage, responsive heating, clean, quiet, no smells (!). Front desk and restaurant personnel were friendly and helpful. They arranged a (reliable) taxi for my 4 am departure to LYS airport. Good breakfast, adequate dinner choices.

Set in pleasant grounds, Ecully is a good basic overnight stay we use on our way to and from the South of France. Excellent service by the manager, Meryl, and her staff.

People are nice but the room are small and bath room not well designed

Good place to base for Lyon area, buses were not good on a Sunday but regular in the week plus uber is available. Clean easy to access, bar and restaurant on site

The hotel was just across EMLYON business school. It's basically just like a motel set up. Plenty of green around and 100 meters to the nearest bus station. The restaurant serves buffet meals however the breakfast is really continental at €9.90 per day. It did not suit my Asian taste.

the good news is that the hotel is clean, safe and the internet works. The staff are pleasant. But it is very expensive for what is a very basic hotel and the food is not great. stay here if you have no alternative and just need a bed. next time I'll avoid it.

Beaufiful location in Ecully. Definitely worth staying here if you are looking for a different experience than the bustling Lyon. The hotel was nice and clean, and it was tucked away from the city which was nice. I'd definitely stay again.

This is one of the best positioned Campanile hotels, in a suburb, quiet with a huge and well kept garden, albeit some distance from the centre of Lyon-we had stayed before and loved it then. Campaniles are an up-market motel, but hitherto very reasonable in price and quality However our experience this time was less enthusiastic. No hand towels were supplied,- unlike with other Camnpaniles where we stayed on this vacation-only large bath towels. The rooms were clean and although this hotel has not yet been upgraded, the accomodation was acceptable At breakfast the first morning there were no baguettes, and we had to wait 10 minutes for croisants to be served- this with a breakfast costing 9.50 Euros,(although after complaining we were given a reduction for this meal) and much less choice-as with all Campaniles, since upgrading their "Le Restaurant". Moreover the choice with their prevfous excellent Buffet dinners is substantially curtailled, despite the price increase. and it is no longer competitive-particularly with their Helho membership discounts no longer applying after 14th august

Le seul point négatif est dans la salle de bain! Il me semble qu'une cabine de douche serait plus pratique que la baignoire proposée!
