I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. I give them ten billion stars

Nice hotel, the rooms could use some upgrades, but I’m guessing if had I gotten a suite, it would have been a little nicer. Pillows were really small. Staff were nice, and I will most likely stay here again in the future.

Nice seaside property. Good service but no phone or AC in the bedroom. Have to open windows if too warm.

The location of this hotel is great! Few food options open, but it was during the off season so it was expected. The hotel's food was still great though! I can imagine this hotel during the peak season is very busy - if we ever go back to visit we will make sure to stay here!

Lovely hotel overlooking marina and Fjord. Excellent breakfast with plentiful hot and cold items. Good parking area. Only problem was lack of anywhere to put our clothes in bedroom - not a single drawer and only a tiny open unit such as you would use to hang a coat. I cannot understand how anyone would design an hotel room with NO storage.

A great hotel full of real character. Amazing views out to sea and a bath tub in the room. I would stay here with my girlfriend.

Staff were very professional and helpful, hotel looks a littlr aged but overall nice comfortable stay.

I would recommend this hotel which is in a very impressive location. Very comfortable with good staff. We came after the end of the season so very quiet.

Hotel didn't seem to know which kind room we booked and also tried to charge full amount even though room was pre-paid... We were given room with connecting door with NO isolation, had to change room at 1 am because the guests in connecting room had a party...

The bed and bed clothes was not very nice. Looked out to a dreary back yard. Breakfast good.

Although I paid for 2 rooms via Expedia, the hotel charged my card for the second room again without informing me. On checkout and after debate my card was refunded. Our room was fairly spacious with a lovely sea view but the family's second room was smaller, dark with no view.

It was in an idyllic location and perfect for a break from city travel
