Loved staying here for a night while passing through Monterey. Friendly staff, great little continental breakfast, cozy rooms and picturesque grounds with beautiful garden. Great value for a quick stay. Thank you for a great stay!

Staff was great, pkg on-site $20 per n, walking distance to Wharf, restaurants, etc., rooms were nice, etc.

This place is special, with historic charm and a great location. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable-charming with a nice balcony overlooking the garden.

Hotel was clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. Rooms have charm. Typical continental breakfast included, served inside or out in the garden. Walking distance to many sights in Monterey, as well as lots of restaurants and cafes. Only complaint - walls are not soundproof and able to hear neighbors.

Great little hotel in the heart of Monterey- our only issue was with the onsite parking, which was pretty small and difficult to navigate. Other than that, we’d highly recommend the property.

I enjoy the size of the room and comfort of the bed. No coffee maker (and so, no source of hot water for tea) is a disappointment. My previous stay’s room 22 had one. Room 18 does not?

Very convenient place to stay while in Monterey. The trolly stop is in from of hotel and takes you around the town for free

Great location and rooms were well decorated. Noon checkout was good. Cons: no AC in the room. Very tight parking. No microwave in the room. Breakfast was mediocre, bagels, muffins, fruit or cereal. The worst part was the water from sinks and shower smelled like ocean water.

older downtown property within a very short walk of fishermans wharf. Has on site parking for $20. Well maintained large rooms with new modern baths. But it still has that older warm B&B feel. Also I Loved the staff.

Absolutely delightful hotel. It made the stay at Monterey very comfortable. I intend to return to Monterey and would book this hotel again.

I have stayed here before and fell in love with the hotel. The room I had when I fell in love was an updated king room. It was so bright and open while still being cozy. This time I needed a room with 2 queens. The room was dark and in serious need of updating. Two of the wall lights didn’t work. The room was on the ground floor with access in the back to a lovely patio but the area by the front door is in need of help. Some planters or flowers - something to make it look less dilapidated. If I come back to stay it will only be in one of the updated king rooms
