The staff were friendly and extremely friendly. The only problem was a staff member in the pool side restaurant who worked on the Thursday 23rd Aug who was extremely rude.

Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were modern, clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable. Pool area fantastic, lovely lifeguard. Only downside was not much choice for lunch and drinks way too overpriced and even had to pay for water. (Thank god for the onsite shop and fridge in room)

Didn't love this place. The location was bad. There was no old-world Spanish charm in the neighborhood surrounding this hotel. It was like being in a low-rent tourist spot in Jamaica. It was also very far away from any real action or attractions. There were no taxis, and it was difficult getting there.

The hotel is lovely rooms very nice lovely kids pool only downfall to the hotel was the food in the evening we had to pay to eat out every night as me my son and grandson couldn’t eat the food as it was awful I did ask on the first night coukd I have a refund and just pay for bed and breakfast but they weren’t very helpful then I asked could we eat by the pool bar instead of having the evening meal and they said no, so I paid for evening meal which we didn’t have and had to pay to eat out every lunch time night , other than that the hotel is lovely would recommend to just have breakfast there.

Marvell is a lovely hotel. Its clean and quiet and everything is easy there. The staff are all polite and helpful. The rooms are big and clean. The pool is lovely and never too busy. Id recommend and would return. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff , next to beach and walking distance to main strip. Rooms kept clean and easy to use facilities. Good food and drink available at bar and reaturant. Very happy with stay 😃

Stayed here for a wedding. Not very close to San Antonio itself but I’m walking distance to all San Antonio Bay which is nicer anyway. Water ferry immediately on door stop. Nice hotel with reasonable kitchen facility. Only flaw was no iron. Staff friendly and attentive. Lovely stay

Brilliant stay with couples very clean and staff friendly would recommend and would definitely return with my children as great pool for kids thank you for a lovely stay

The rooms are great, clean and includes a kitchenette. The staff were really helpful. We haven't tried the pool although it looked ok, the breakfast wasn't amazing but ok for the money paid. Overall its a recommended hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice, clean and spacious hotel with a lovely pool! The cons: A tad too far away from the touristy nightlife area (which could be a plus if you want somewhere more family-oriented and quiet); food was certainly not the best, the pool could use a little revamp and/or upgrade The pros: nice strong cocktails (I got the all-inclusive rate), friendly and helpful staff (the people at the reception were lovely)

Location has a few restaurants and bars around and is 15 minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach. Pool area is great, and plenty of sunbeds and space. Staff lovely and friendly. Taxis are super easy to get in the vicinity and about 30 euros to the major clubs. Hotel is mixed with guests - families, couples, friends and girls weekends but generally a chilled atmosphere.

overall view of hotel is that it's not very close to main areas Had to get a cab every time want to go to main area of town. Mainly for family's thT want to spend time in hotel and ok with a few restraurants close by.

I went with my partner in August. The hotel has obviously been recently renovated and it's really well done. Our room was a deluxe superior with a sea view. It was big with very modern bathroom - really really clean - and the view was amazing!! Unfortunately being August the hotel was overrun run with kids and I would not recommend couples stay here during this time. The pool was nice, again very clean. The food was very average all-inclusive spread and we did eat out one night. At nighttime the all-inclusive drinks are still served from plastic cups which we didn't like.

Great hotel. Superb location, far enough away from the noise (if you are the sea view side which fortunately we we were) yet not far to walk to everything including bars restaurants beaches and boat taxis. Breakfast was superb and saved time and money going out for. Personally we don't like half or full board but I understand after talking to people that lunch and evening meals are repetitive but you expect repetition at breakfast even though there were changes every day so not a problem for us. If I had to find something to complain about it would be the beds and pillows were very hard and the coffee wasn't the best I've tasted. We don't normally go back but we would stay here again if we ever return.
