Staff was very helpful on navigating the city.

Very friendly atmosphere! We especially appreciated the welcome bar with champagne, all day access to water, coffee, the and yummy snacks, the lovely breakfast, and friendly staff. Of course the location of the hotel was excellent as well!

Hotel wasn't the biggest but everything was excellent even my expectations. Breakfast- better than excellent. Car parking secured in garage 2 min walk. Very convenient location. I can only to recommend.

Staff was unwelcoming and not very invested in their role of hospitality. Their lack of effort for advice and help was extremely anemic. For this reason alone I would not go back.

Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch. Everything is within close walking distance, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been visiting Ancora for over 10 years and I never tire of this hotel and it’s location and views of Lago Maggiore. Breakfast is fantastic, parking is easy. Not a resort, it’s a simple business-style hotel but it’s fantastic.

Seems to be ine of the best hotels aound the area, but well just for one night it was fine. Quite old though, room is small and nothing special. Did not try the breakfast here. Location is great.

Definitely not a 4 Star Hotel, maybe back in the 1980s, the first room we were allocated was really poor,however the staff did eventually move us into an attic room 5 levels up? The breakfast was ok(fairly repetitive). There was one member of staff who was very helpful (Marta) overall great location but wouldn’t return to this hotel, one other major point if taking you car to this location be prepared for a large parking cost!!!

A perfect hotel in a perfect location.

Excellent hotel with very friendly Excellent staff . Even though it’s right on the main road. The windows are so good you can’t hear anything when they’re closed. Also the room air conditioner is fantastic. It was in the upper 90s outside we stayed. And I actually got the room too cold. The free breakfast is excellent as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice, and a vegetable juice machine. Even had sparkling wine. I will stay here every time I’m in the area.

Friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Close to ferry for visiting around the lake. It is over 100km from the airport so you need to be aware that trsnsport might be expensive.
