Casa Dona Susana was very clean with comfortable beds, bedding and towels. Has a quaint Mexican charm to it, and would highly recommend. The only annoying part of the stay was a constant chirping coming from the lobby portion of the hotel. When inquiring about it, they said it had to do with a temperature sensor. Hopefully this’ll be fixed soon so others can enjoy a quite stay.

Where do I start. No bar, no restaurant. No parking for my rent a car in the hotel. I bought all inclusive but the bar is two blocks away, it closes at 10:30pm. The TV didn’t work. This was the first Hotel I have ever stayed. The staff was rude.

Pros: Location, quiet and close to the sister hotels and restaurants and amenities in Zona Romantica Cons, humidity in the room, regular room felt claustrophobic, (make sure you stay on a room with a balcony) no pool the week we were there, but access to the Los Arcos all inclusive and Arcos condos pools overall 3 stars, the staff was nice

Absolutely perfect! Property, location, comfort, cleanliness and especially the attentive staff Alexander, Joel and the rest of the team. Boutique hotel but with the percs of being sister hotel to beach resort Los Arcos. We will absolutely stay there again next trip!

The staff of Casa Dona Susana are the best!! You can trust that they will take great care of your stay with kindness and responsibility. I left my phone behind and I was at the airport scared and worried that I would not have it going back home. With just one call to the hotel they were able to retrieve my phone and send it to me via taxi to the airport. They did me a great service and will forever be grateful for that.

The staff was wonderful. The property was one small block off the beach. The rooftop pool had a great view. We would stay there again.

Customer service was great all services are great except the waiters for the most part they don't greet you they rush through they don't have time for you some of them and as far as the room upgrade they did upgrade us to a remodel room somewhat nice room smelled like if it was over humidity inside the room and stink our clothes yes they did provide us with an exchange of room another upgrade but like I said you look like rooms were just remodeled because they forgot to free inspect the rooms before they gave them out to the customers there were a couple of items wrong with the second room as well the shower head was loose when moving the shower spigot the sink faucet was also very loose when opening and closing the faucet handle that got fixed after it was told about and thirdly the restroom door to the toiletry was not screwed right on the hinges it was me seeing a lot of screws on the hinges and the door was hit on the floor and was hanging by literally three screws on three hinges after being there for half an hour and going to restroom and closing the door one of the screws fell off so now you only had two screws on three inches that was that was also brought up and got fixed other than that everything went well just one more thing they need to do something about their food they need to find a better chef with better taste this is my fourth time or third going to the same place Hotel and we've had the same problem maybe it's just us don't know but I think it can be fixed

LIFE OR DEATH DO NO STAY HERE AND PURCHASE THE ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE!! Contracted E. COLI and SHIGELLA from the all inclusive restaurant buffet they had us eat at. This was followed by a 4 day stay in the hospital. My kidneys and liver have received extensive damage.

I had an amazing stay and experience at this property. I got the all inclusive package which was really convenient and worth the price! The area is perfect and very walkable. Right across from the beach and the staff were very welcoming/ helpful. You are constantly greeted and there’s always staff on the property even at night so you feel very safe. The pool on the rooftop was nice and secluded if you prefer more privacy after a long day to relax. There’s many restaurants near by in case you want to try different foods and the nightlife did not disappoint. I would highly recommend staying here!! I will most certainly book again in the future.

Great location. Nice pool. Room was a little more dated than pictured esp the bathroom.

The hotel is very cute and the roof top is nice, but this is downtown so noisy. There is a lot of hotel noise and street noise which is somewhat expected in DT. The beds are hard! The staff is very friendly. The hotel smells like mildew and pool times are coming off. I’ve stayed here before and loved it, but they put all the money into the remodel of the bar and front and didn’t deal with mildew and room comfort. Overall, the location is great if you want to be DT and walk to everything, but next time I will stay somewhere else for comfort and quiet and hopefully won’t smell like mildew.

We loved it here! We have stayed across the street at Suites for the last 7 times. (Suites and Susana are with the Los Arcos group, we love Suites also). We decided to try Susana this time. It was great! Our room was very comfortable and we loved the 4th floor pool and area to sit and relax. The staff is fantastic and will definitely stay here again.

Yourself a favor, don’t be fooled by the high rating for this place. It is in the old Vallarta area. This is really dirty and the beach it’s filthy. The beach is super dirty and the dirty streets of the water is running into the beach abo

There were lots of pool tiles inside the pool that were either missing or loose both on the floor of the pool and surrounding the inside of the pool. The larger tiles were also extremely dirty and it felt like the pool could need a really good clean, although the water did appear to be clean and was a lovely tepid temperature
