We stayed here in September 2025. I loved the historical character of the place. We had a water view, which was amazing. However, our neighbor had his radio/tv up so loud. You could hear it from the hall. We would not have been able to sleep. Both we and the hotel knocked on the door, but no one every answered. So they moved us that night. When we went back the next morning to get the rest of our things out of the original room, the tv/radio was still that loud. To be honest, I am surprised they didn't enter the room to make sure the person was alright. I still gave this 5 stars, because the staff did give us another room (not a water view, but it was still nice). The breakfast and dinner were great and saved us a lot of money. The location is amazing. You could walk to town easily from there. I would definitely stay there again.

This property was very nice. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff was very professional. Our room was on the “smallish” side and the chair needed some new stuffing! Bed and pillows were wonderful. Definitely come back again.

I loved staying at this property. The breakfast and dinner was delicious! I loved the location and view. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. If I return to Kalmar, I would definitely stay again.

We had a nice visit to Kalmar and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is convenient to the train station as well as the central part of the city. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

This place was great! We had a beautiful seaside room and the meals were all delicious. The write up said a light dinner, but we found it filling. The gym looked really nice, but I never made it there

Nice location and easy walk from the railway station and return to the inner city with its attractions. Super that breakfast, afternoon coffee and evening buffet were in the price.

Glitzy nice Looking bathrooms. Property renovation was nice in most respects. But maintenance was less than impressive. Broken soap/conditioner dispenser in the shower 2 days to fix. Light bulb out in the bathroom. 2 days to fix None of these issues were noted on the room in the computer system. Not sure how the hotel tracks issues No Compensation - hard to understand.l

A nice comfortable hotel on the water. The food was amazing. Included was breakfast, fika and dinner. All meals were homemade and fresh. The room was clean, quiet and cozy. The hotel is in a great location as well. Really liked this hotel.

Stort härligt rum. Ingen utsikt men skön säng, som en mini svit och fint badrum.
