It is a very small room but fine for one night. The bathroom and linens were very clean but there was an odd smell in the bathroom. The reception host was lovely but just after check in time, at 4pm, there was only one person working. So a very long wait.

Room was extremely small, which we expected, but it was very hard to get to one side of the bed. The carpet was completely stained and disgusting. The bathroom had no place to set toiletries. The bath tub drain was clogged and while showering it filled up with water. And the topper was at 6:30 in the morning, there were very loud workers delivering crap outside the window.

We had a fantastic stay on MSM. The room was modern and clean and I'm sure a small problem with the shower screen will be quickly fixed by management. The location was perfect and the buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious. Excellent value overall and we highly recommend staying overnight at Les Terrasses Poulard.

We stayed as two couples. The hotel rooms were very clean and well equipped. We were beside the restaurant for breakfast which was handy. Was lovely to stay in the island and have the quieter times at night and early morning before the crowds came.

There aren’t many options if you want to stay on the island of Mont Saint Michel. The property is very clean but extremely outdated and no AC (which is says in description). Definitely not for people who have mobility issues as there are many steps. Our bed was comfortable and they do provide a fan.

Check-in was easy to find, they were very accommodating with storing our luggage until we checked in and after we checked out. The room was small, but completely sufficient for 3 people. It was clean, comfortable, and we would stay there again. We did have a bit of a walk to a secondary location in order to access the room, but this placed us closer to the edge of the island which gave better views and a more comfortable breeze with the windows open.

Stayed in the annex which has been newly renovated. Very comfortable bed. Annex is beside the hotels restaurant which is set apart from the main hotel. Good range of food for breakfast with a lovely view

The staff were amazing! The island was magical. What we didn’t realize is that the hotel has rooms in satellite locations around the village. Our room was about 500 feet from where we checked in. It was a basement room below ground level with a view of a dilapidated building and blighted courtyard. The wall to wall carpet was damaged and the shower access was so tight my husband almost didn’t fit in at 6’1” and 220 pounds. We loved our stay at the island and the staff was very nice but we were extremely disappointed in the room given to us.

We had a great room with a view. Friendly staff. Big bathroom. Comfortable bed. Lots of stairs to room as to be expected so only bring a small carry bag.

The room was very small and extremely hot. No ventilation. Windows that opened to a walkway with everyone looking in, and finally at night we had to fight with the mosquitoes if we wanted the windows open.

My wife and I stayed one night at the hotel as we wanted to experience Mont St Michael in the abbey. Hotel parking is offsite. Do not forget to get a code from the hotel as guest overnight parking requires a code to enter. Also be prepared to pay for your parking and will need to have your ticket to exit. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and very good. We had dinner at their restaurant and thought it was great. Have the front desk make reservations for you. The room had a window to the street with a beautiful view of the water but was loud in the morning as vendors on forklifts were bringing supply’s into the Abbey. The bed mattress was not the most comfortable but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Overall, if you want to spend the night on the Abbey this hotel is a good choice.

Our room was in an annex. The first thing we noticed was there was no air conditioning. When we tried to open windows to cool the room, I found that two of the three windows were broken. We opened the third window, and as soon as night fell a swarm of mosquitos entered the room, as there was no screen. I pulled the comforter out of the duvet to try to cover up with that, but it was too warm and I could not breathe under the duvet. I finally ended up putting the comforter on the floor in the bathroom and covering up with a towel and closing the door to thwart the mosquitos. I would have been better off sleeping outside on the beach; i would have gotten just as many mosquito bites, but the sand would have been softer and it would have been much cooler.

The location inside the Mont area was great because you can enjoy Mont Saint Michel early morning and evening without the hordes of tourists overwhelming the area during the day. On the other hand, the room was tiny and the condition of the carpet was deplorable, with huge ugly stains. Other than that, the hotel was OK. Replacing the carpets would improve the attractiveness of the hotel a lot.
