Room has areas of improvement re cleanliness eg mould on bathroom mirror, dirt on footstool in bathroom and hair on bedroom floor. Water in the evening was like warm, in the morning it was hot. The outdoor pool looked inviting but it wasn't open to use. Breakfast was good but toaster extremely slow. Parking was good.

We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo. Really good location and views. Standout were the wonderful staff - all so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I cannot recall the names, but the Portuguese maitre d, reception staff and Hungarian beautician are especially to be commended for their wonderful service. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was delicious and the breakfast is outstanding. Bed was super confortable and lovely bathroom - though hooks or rack needed for hanging damp towels! The hotel is being expanded and it was early season, so there was slight chaos around that (we were staying in the new part, and it was a bit of a challenge finding our room initially!). That actually in some ways added to the charm. Thank you all for a wonderful 3-night stay.

The hotel is just completing a major extension and the connection between the old and the new was a bit complicated to navigate (two separate lifts and long corridor) especially when given incorrect instructions by the check-in staff. The room and the bed were very large and had a nice balcony and bathroom but the fittings were poorly installed and some fell off or were missing altogether (eg hand towel rings, night light). The aircon was a bit difficult to operate and there seemed to be no 'off' switch. We were also disturbed when sleeping by a knocking noise somewhere near our room. It felt like the development had been rushed into service and there was still some work going on around us. The hotel is well situated and has beautiful views. The bar and restaurant were very good and the evening meals we had in the lobby restaurant were superb. Very friendly staff and very good service. The Spa was very good and well priced though the indoor pool is a bit gloomy. The outdoor pool was not in service yet but looks inviting and the rooftop restaurant was closed but is in a great position and if it matches the downstairs restaurant it will be a great place to spend the evening.

Superb location overlooking the harbour. Staff great. Orange juice while checking in was a nice touch. Room adequate but dated and well-used, shared areas eg corridors not especially clean. Nice breakfast. Indoor pool tiny, outdoor pool was closed.

The staff were lovely and the facade of the hotel was very impressive, as was the location. The room was very dark and dated, it was large and had a lot of mismatching furniture in it, it smelled damp and musty, the bathroom was particularly dated and had various holes in the tiles where fixtures had been changed over the years. The shower over bath taps leaked meaning the floor got wet no matter how careful you were with the shower curtain.

Staff were very polite and friendly, our superior room was extremely tired and dated. The bathroom was horrible with black mould on the tiles and shower curtain. Unfortunately we would not use this hotel again.

An excellent four star hotel on the Harbour in Gozo easy for the ferry five minutes walk away and only 3 miles from Victoria in the centre of Gozo, the staff give the hotel more of a local feel rather than that of an international brand.

Common areas could be cleaner, example when you exit the lift in 5th door. Staff members 5+

The only good think is the staff in this hotel. Except the location, everything needs to be improved.

The hotel is quite large in size. Can be confusing trying to navigate your way around. The buildings are connected by long corridors. The lift floors in the different buildings don’t match up and access can be difficult with luggage The breakfast dinning room is quite small for the size of the hotel. The new guest rooms are spacious with large balconies.

First and foremost we didn't get a confirmation whether we would be having a cot in the room prior to arriving. then we parked at level -2 and it took us almost 30 minutes to find our way to the reception since the lift was opening on construction work. there weren't any easily read signs that informed us how to make our way to the reception. when we eventually tried the second lift, it was as if it was broken - rusty from the outside and barely working. We checked in and made our way to the room. the bathroom was full of mould - unfortunately I can't attach any photos but I will send them upon request. We left the hotel for dinner but no one informed us that there was going to be an event that might have an effect on the indoor hotel parking and we ended up parking 10minutes away which made checking out extremely difficult since we have a toddler. I had to wait for my husband to get the car rather than checking out peacefully. Also the kettle took ages to boil which made it almost unusable.

Josef the manager was outstanding, upgraded us to a family room.Housekeeping provides enough amenities I booked for 3 and was assigned with a queen bed,no sofa bed.view of the outdoor infinity pool and harbor. Indoor swimming pool is warm with coed shower. The entrance to the pool not handicap accessible, however guests and staff assisted with the rollator. Had burrata & figs, pizza, fish soup @ Ferdies. Restaurant have diasable access in the alley of the hotel. The hotel is a stone’s throw away, uphill, the taxi not even 2 mins drive cost us €10.The driver was friendly and helpful that we hired him for 5 hr Gozo tour.
