Loved this hotel. Great location, friendly staff. Great food. Just a beautiful island and perfect place to use as your base. Loved it

An excellent hotel with a fantastic view of the Gozo Channel. It is now a large hotel. The pool is super warm and large with the great view. We were upgraded to a superior plus room which was very comfortable with a nice balcony. Good WiFi airconditioning and some English TV channels. Kettle tea and coffee. The breakfast is an extensive buffet. There was some building work noise but as we were out most of the time it did not disturb. The food from the bar was good however the service of the food and drinks especially in the middle of the day can be very slow. A great place for a beach holiday

The hotel itself is tired but the staff are amazing and really helpful. We opted for half board which was outstanding. Gluten free diet catered for perfectly. Bbq on the roof was an amazing experience, great views and outstanding food. It’s a lovely picturesque spot too. Pool is gorgeous. A really lovely hotel. The car park under the hotel is errrr interesting, bit like a rollercoaster ride

Amazing!

The pool is great but the artificial grass is far from ideal its very hot to walk on and is badly laid and a trip hazard! Was not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom when we arrived the toilet was far from clean. The rooms are nice and cool in the hot temperature we had. Good location though great views.

Large, clean room with an amazing view. The staff were helpful. Beautiful pool, good location in the harbor. Great selection of fresh food at breakfast, but coffee was bitter, not tasty. The hotel is old, some cracks in walls and terraces, the many elevators are a maze, not all of them worked. We needed to take stairs to the elevators, or take an elevator to change to another elevator. Take maintenance staff starts work early, they work hard, but they also woke us up after 8:30am to fix an issue in the room, on another day there were construction notices at 8am above our room. The AC can be lowered only to 18C, it stopped working on one of the days for a few hours. The reception did not have a cart to put our luggage on to take to the room, all needed to be carried. No AC in the hallways.

Nice hotel lovely views from the pool and the rooms. Hotel deco in the room was a little outdated but all functional and bed was comfortable. Having a balcony with a table chairs and sunbed was great. Although it can be noisy with the comings and goings of the road and ferries but only when sat outside not during the night. Air conditioning was great and needed local restaurants nearby served great food. A nice break for a solo traveller

The infinity pool was amazing - very clean and fantastic views. Plenty of sun loungers. Generally cleanliness was ok - not great. Pretty worn decor and pool toilet facility was gross. Reception weren’t very helpful on arrival. Staff change next day and they were much better. Amazing location and attentive bar / restaurant staff. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and very fresh. Overall fab hotel, location and pool - just a bit shabby

Everything about the hotel stay was perfect. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and they decorated the room with balloons and banners which was a lovely touch. The infinity pool was amazing. There is construction work going on at the moment but it didn't impact our holiday at all. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I will be definitely be going again.

We are returning customers and no matter how many times we visit Gozo, The Grand is always our home away from home. We always stay in a superior seaview room because the view is just amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Grand Gozo.

Excellent location, spacious, comfortable and clean room, abundant breakfast and very helpful staff... And the cherry on the cake? Martin Sapiano who helped us each time we met on the premises. Will visit again for sure

Hotel aging a bit Great view

We loved this hotel - we had booked a Superior Sea View Room with balcony, and it was lovely. We had breakfast included, a great choice of hot and cold food, buffet style. The hotel is walking distance from the ferry terminal, but it's uphill to get to the hotel, fine if you have light luggage! The hotel's outdoor pool is really lovely and spotlessly clean. Local buses go from the end of the road. Nice local restaurants within 15 mins walk. All in all a fabulous location, we'll definitely stay there again.
