Check in was fast and efficient. The stay was pleasant and I would definitely stay again.

Good breakfast great air conditioning

The bed was very comfy and the room had a good size shower. Breakfast was overly too. Air conditioning didn’t work and layout of room not very practical - dressing table had the to where the mirror should have been and mirror on a separate wall. One of the hottest weekends and couldn’t stay cool while getting ready. Very disappointed as carpets are thread bare in places and run down. Not what I was expecting for the price.

Room was poor and tiny. Unable to open window as it had no handle. Extractor fan didn't work. Noisy corridor was disturbing. Car parking was extra and expensive as paying guests. No complementary water. We would not reuse this hotel unfortunately.

Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not working on an extremely hot night. We were offered to change rooms, but we had settled in by the time the maintenance man came to look at the air conditioning and made this offer. We gathered there was a problem in quite a few rooms. We were lent two fans by the maintenance man, which did help.

Very tatty hotel

Stopped here previously with our doggy. This was a solo trip everything was good for me. Left something in the room called next day and they had it in lost property which got collected by my daughter that day. Service excellence

Room was small but adequate , air con didn’t work and it was a very warm night so hard to stay asleep Was midnight when got back to room so too late to report as nothing would get done

It is an amazing hotel and has perfect location to Nottingham town centre and Nottingham station. The staff are very friendly and the facilities are great too. They did a happy hour on cocktails too which is great too would stay again thank you for the amazing stay as always

The hotel is pretty basic, rooms are very small and there is not enough space to walk past the bed without a chance of hitting your head on the TV! The bathroom needs a normal showerhead not rain fall showers! They charge extra for parking, this is ridiculous

After check-in, we discovered that a party in an event room, one floor below, was causing that much noise, we felt the basses in the room. At the reception, immediately another room was found for us, far away from the party. All staff was very supportive.

Room upgrade

The hotel had some amenities updated and some not. Carpeting and furniture could use some deep cleaning due to stains. But otherwise everything else was very clean. It’s conveniently located to bus stops, restaurants, and a grocery.

The hotel was well presented, well laid out bedrooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The only downside was arriving to find there was a £12 per night parking fee, which was not made clear at the time of booking via Expedia.

Bathroom smelt fusty on arrival. Lift doors dodgy when opening! Breakfast very good. Nice and quiet Room very small but ok for 1 night Receptionist very helpful

Rooms were clean and staff eager to be helpful .

My room facilities were very good but the best thing about this hotel were the excellent staff.

Thoroughly disappointed. Had to ask to move rooms as the door did not shut and lock properly in my kids room and a dirty room for us. The next room had half a curtain and also dirty, the third room stank of sewer and only slightly cleaner than the others. But we were fed up with moving after such a long drive, so stuck with it. Staff were in no way apologetic for the state of the rooms and general disrepair of them. We were given 2 free drinks as compensation, which was a slap in the face. We never used them as getting served in the restaurant was almost impossible and it was not even remotely busy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING, ALL the time. I chose this hotel for the spa amenities, yet only 1 of the 4 of us used it very briefly, also not worth it. The cost of parking adding insult to injury. The breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, I would not recommend at all and will never be staying in a Mecure Hotel ever again. A Premier Inn would have been far superior.
