Baltic Amber is a VERY unique place. Its location is PREMIERE, access to private beach is totally unreplaceable. Hotel itself leave a lot to be desired, the main problem is LACK OF AIR CONDITIONNING, which at todays age of global warming is a big NO NO! What compensate this is unbelievable management. I have to mention by name deputy manager, Mrs. ANIA, who was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful in making our stay memorable (even without AC) :). All in all, beside the shortcomings of the hotel itself, its location, private beach and manager Ania made our stay truly memorable.

A great hotel and well positioned right next to the beach. Rooms clean and looked recently refurbished. Nice pool area. Food good and well presented. Reception staff excellent. Bar/restaurant in the evening - the staff need to engage with guests. The bar was often unattended, and staff seemed to hide in the kitchen. One waitress called Ania was excellent but others need to understand something of what is required to work in the service industry. There is a nightclub next to the hotel (not part of the hotel) which seemed to have a licence to play music until 4am. This was an issue on one of the nights of our stay. Overall, this is a great hotel and we would return, just ensuring we had a room on the side of the hotel that was away from the nightclub.

I have been living in US for over 20 years now and apparently I take some things for granted by now... an example is the parking... while booking the hotel I assumed I will have also parking place available if needed, well I was disappointed that there was no parking available when I arrived, because apparently I had to book it separately while making the room reservation... I am not use to it. Well, I asked to be informed the next day if something will change about parking. So I was disappointed the next day that nobody contacted me about that and only when I approach the front desk myself and inquire about the parking I found out that it was available. Second example... In America, all staff is always smiling, happy and eager to help, in polish hotel staff is sad, avoiding eye contact, and rude... or this is the polish mentality? Amber Baltic, although 30 years old hotel is still a very nice hotel; that said I've seen dirty walls, peeling paint, or rust here and there... Now the food was great, breakfasts were real feasts. So overall, great accommodation, great food, but customer service needs to improve.

The customer service was unprofessional, bad mannered with a lack of communication and transparency between the customer and front desk/ management. Very disappointed with how the management handled our check out. We made reservations online for one room king size bed. During reservation and check in we were never told we need to pay per person.On our last day we were told we still need to pay for one more person which cost us almost 100 usd more. We travel all over the world and never were charged per person before only per room. Left us with unpleasant ,disappointing feeling. Great location ,nice hotel but poor customer service.

I liked the view from the room. However, the room was very tiny and had a weird setup with bed in the middle of the room. The hotel restaurant does not serve wine with lunch because the bar does not open until 3 pm. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was not cleaned on the second day.

Our first impression of the Amber Baltic was not being able to park in the hotel car park as it was full. After parking in a car park nearby we checked in. We spent 10 minutes queuing at reception and just as it was our turn 2 Germans arrived at the desk and we were ignored while they got served! The breakfast was okay although a little over crowded. During our stay we had body treatments at the spa and used the indoor pool and sauna. This was the best part of the hotel. Overall this hotel is tired and in need of a refurb. We would not stay here again.

- arriving & parking - the receptionist wasn't aware of possiibilities of parking at the hotel so we were directed to an outside parking place - we had an executive room which was very small; wonder how regular room look like??? - 1 of 2 elevators didn't work; the 2nd one was quite faulty and we could never reach 5th floor - staircase (had to use because of above story with lift) looked like undergroung parking one; certainly not 4* hotel!

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Auch wenn wir zum 5. Mal hier waren, man kann von Jahr zu Jahr sehen, dass nichts passiert. Nur die Preise stehen. Parkplatz 165 zloty pro Tag. Wahnsinn! Jeden Tag das gleiche Frühstück, es ist gut, aber etwas Abwechslung wäre doch gut. Der aussenpool ist so eiskalt, dass ich in der ganzen Woche nicht einen Menschen darin gesehen habe. Es war gerade wieder Festival und da dreht sich dann immer alles um die polnischen Stars! Bus morgens sehr laute Musik, selbst wenn das Fenster geschlossen ist.

Leider keine 4 Sterne wert Ich kann diesem Hotel leider keine 4 Sterne geben. Das Zimmer war altmodisch, der Teppich voller Hundekot-Flecken, und das Bett war viel zu hart. Ich hatte ein Deluxe-Zimmer gebucht, doch stattdessen ein schmutziges Zimmer mit Flecken und Urinspuren bekommen. Obwohl ich selbst einen Hund habe, halte ich mein Tier sauber, da wir regelmäßig nach draußen gehen. Es war enttäuschend, ein Zimmer vorzufinden, das durch andere Gäste derart verschmutzt war. Zusätzlich wurde eine Gebühr von 22 € pro Tag für meinen Hund berechnet, aber es gab keinerlei Ausstattung für ihn – keinen Wassernapf, keinen Hundekorb, nichts. Für diesen Preis hätte ich zumindest grundlegende Annehmlichkeiten erwartet. Auch das Frühstück war enttäuschend – die Auswahl war sehr begrenzt, und es gab nur ein kleines Frühstücksangebot. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Umgebung war sehr schön, mit Meerblick und der Möglichkeit, gemütlich zum Strand zu spazieren.
