Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Quiet location.

Nice hotel, good location

Suveränt hotell, som inte verkar fått det betyg de är värda. Ligger norr om stan vilket betyder lugn och ro. Bekväma sängar, perfekt lösning för familj med nedfällbara sängar. Lekrum, swimming pool, gym! Fin frukost med massa val och ekologiska ägg bland annat. Fri parkering med laddplats. Oerhört trevlig personal i både reception, frukost och middag. Prisvärt! Vi bodde här igen på vägen tillbaka för vi var så nöjda.

We stayed here on our way driving down to Stockholm. It was a decent hotel. Not kidding, but the carpet in the hallways is what gives this hotel it's personality. When you see it, you will know what I mean. Very kid friendly. Mediocre breakfast. Rooms were fine, pretty standard.

Room was good. Kid's beds were not that comfortable but OK. Pool was cold due to cleaning the day before, so this was a disappointment. The corona arrangements at breakfast was not that good. Should've been a single line passing all stations.

Great hotel with convenient access to motorways. Gym room is a bit small with zero view or window. Not very inviting. Swimming pool is very cold 22C when were there.

Perfectly acceptable stop-off type hotel, part of a chain. We stayed in 3 of these recently and they were all perfectly suited for the job, being very close to the motorways and main roads. The staff in this one were very friendly and accommodating. Free parking/breakfast/wi-fi all good too. No real complaints at all, and the pull-down murphy beds mean 3 or 4 people can share 1 room.

Great location when traveling by car. Quite close to Birsta. Hotel is older and worn somewhat. Good breakfast.

Wonderful place to stay, great breakfast, friendly service, and ample parking too! Customer service excellence!! One prime example of this is that we are from the United States, where coin operated self-service laundromats are readily available. However, we found out that there are not such facilities in Sweden. When we asked at the front desk what we could do, he said there are facilities that you can send out your laundry and have it returned, but it would be very expensive. He then said he would ask his supervisor if it would be possible if our laundry could be included with their normal bedding and towels that they launder for the hotel. And the good news is, they agreed that they would do our laundry and return it on site, free of charge, AND they had it completed the same afternoon we asked! We of course left a gratuity in kind for them and their kindness! Customer service excellence, a prime example of the definition of the word!! You won't be disappointed, easy access right off of the main highway North and South, just North of downtown Sundsvall.

These folks went above and beyond the call of duty when we needed service. Front Desk clerk David helped us with laundering our clothes. We simply asked if the hotel had coin operated washers and dryers for use by guests available. He said sadly they didn't, as Sweden doesn't normally have them. He did offer an option though, to have the housekeeping staff launder our clothes with their daily linens and return them the following day. We of course took him up on his very kind offer, and to our surprise, there wasn't any charge, AND he called later that same day and said they were all finished and ready for us to pick them up!! That is truly great customer service!! Everything else was excellent, great traditional Swedish breakfast with all of the best things, a beautiful dining room to eat breakfast in, and outside parking is free too. If you prefer garage parking, there is a small fee for that. I highly recommend the Sundsvall Scandic Nord for any future stay!! Their staff and facilities were all top notch excellent!!

Resturangen var en katastrof dålig mat och service

Så smidigt stopp för oss på lång väg hemåt. Trevliga i restaurangen, god mat och pennor mm till barnen. Det fanns lekrum nere i receptionen. Supergod frukost med det lilla extra - ett Scandic längs vägen med boutiqe-hotellsfrukost. Underbart! Smidig in och utcheckning.

Det sker just nu ombyggnation på hotellet. Tyvärr bilade de upp badrummet närmast mitt rum från klockan 9 så det var svårt att arbeta på rummet. Dock löste receprionisten detta på bästa sätt så jag är ändå nöjd med min vistelse och kan rekommendera hotellet. Det har blivit fräschare sen jag bodde sist (ett par år sen) och frukostbuffén var riktigt bra!
