Very good location; walkable to everything important;very helpful welcoming staff

Like many so called 4 star hotels in Spain, there seems to be an emphasis on not using AC. After a long drive, what a family of three would expect when we could have a brief refresh & relax in our room would be that the AC would be on - it was not. But on the flip side - once activated, the AC would blow incredibly cold, so quite difficult to find a midway / comfortable point for guests. This was a one night stay, but the pictures on the website / hotels.com profile make it seem as if the pool is somewhat larger - not what it is in reality - a plunge pool. Restaurant is not worth eating at, very basic and average food, and what claims to be a four star hotel should really have a concierge. All in all, for a one night stay it did the bare minimum - but if you’re after a more welcoming and comfortable stay, I’d recommend another property - as the value for price can get your better in the same neighborhood.

Very clean, wonderful staff, good selection for breakfast and excellent location. One quibble...pool is tiny.

Everything was gorgeous, worth bearing in mind the rooftop pool is small and popular and the air con was set to a 22c minimum which is understandable. But the staff, the food and the venue were all really lovely and well worth it, and the location was great too.

Room was large and lean with a terrace and a view. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the breakfast buffet was fantaastic

A very comfortable stay! The room was large and so tastefully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pool was a hit! Perfect location. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing

The hotel is a perfect location , really comfy beds , nice size rooms and bathroom . Nice roof top bar and plunge pool. The only complaint I’d have about the hotel is the condition of the sofas and pool area seats . Sadly marked in areas assuming this is due to sun cream . And the seating was damp on an evening due to day time use from the pool . Other than that a lovely stay .

Functional room with AC but the AC was quite weak and did not cool the room effectively. The room was fine but tired (tv lopsided, wallpaper coming down, scuff marks on floor). However the location was good and the staff were always present.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. We were a party of 6 in 3 rooms. The rooms were very clean, modern and tidy. Staff on check in were excellent and really helpful. We also had breakfast included - this was not at the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Room is beautiful but service was slow and we had to actively look out for staff members so we could order off the menu etc. The rooftop pool is lovely albeit small and gets very busy from approximately 2pm onwards. There were deck chairs and sofas to use but once it’s busy, this will be limited as there were not many. Rooftop drinks in the evening were delicious and again the staff were excellent. I would stay again here but not pay for breakfast and get this from a local cafe instead.

It was our second time there. The location is fantastic, staff is professional and always ready to help. Being able to get the car parked on premises in Malaga 100 yards from the cathedral is a great feature. The rooftop pool is great. Highly recommended!

Great location

Great location, nice, clean hotel; expensive for what it is, however. We booked a harbor view room. When we got to our room on the first floor there was no view of the harbor (that is why we selected this hotel over others); my husband asked about it and was told they would move us the next day. So I wasn't able to unpack after living out of a suitcase several days previously. They then moved us to a room at the same location of the hotel but on the fourth floor. You still couldn't see the harbor unless you looked out the one window and leaned the right way. The staff in general was not very friendly. The cleaning staff was good. The pool was nice, although the area is somewhat small. It has great views. We were disappointed that the pool bar didn't open until 4:00, although we were able to order food and drinks to be delivered to us at the pool. I wish you could get towels at the pool instead of at the front desk. If I came to Malage again I would probably stay at the AC or a Soho Boutique instead.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was very comfortable with the temperature and atmosphere easily controllable. Thank you.
