Nice one night stop at the end of our vacation. Lots of families were there, enjoying the amenities.

This was our second time visiting the Valamar Tirena and we had the same friendly service as our first visit. The complimentary buffet breakfast had a wide variety of items and we noticed that the hotel provided many activities for families with children of all ages. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun!

Excellent resort, it can’t be better, it checks almost all boxes.

Great resort to relax and enjoy time with the family. Excellent option for families with young children. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, felt tired outside of the hotel in a way. Pools were good, particularly the inside pool although this was in Lacroma but you’ve got access to use. No real shallow bit though for the kids to stand up in would be my only negative mark. Close to the Maro club which has so much and full on entertainment for the kids. Really handy for the bus into the old town, with buses every 15/10mins

Hotel has clearly gone through a renovation but felt for the price paid fell short of expectations . We took older children but could see how it would suit best those with younger children.

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Internet WiFi access was really good in the hotel. Swimming pool was great and the restaurant next to it had really nice food too and great service. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and would love to stay again.

Great 4 days stay. This was our 2nd time in this hotel. We wanted to have easy break at the pool. Everything was great again. We also enjoy other activities like, basketball and video games.

Family of four staying in adjoining rooms which was perfect. Modern decor in rooms,very comfortable and spacious bathrooms. Water and fruit on arrival in room and fridge for your useage.Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Dinner was really good too, again buffet style with plenty to choose from. Pool was brilliant with the added bonus of swim up bar and slides for all to enjoy. Plenty sun loungers and nobody could put their towels down until 9am which I thought was so much better than many places I have visited before. Great snack bar also for lunch which you could takeaway. We didn’t use Maro world but it seemed a great option for kids. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful to swim in. Top tip is take water shoes as most beaches are Peebles. There is a few shops/restuarants very near by which is handy for snacks/water and gifts. We booked the 3 island full day trip through the hotel which I would highly recommend. Very good value and idyllic islands, again take your water shoes! Ubers are a good way to get about to visit other places as is the bus which we used to go into cavtat - such a beautiful spot especially when the sun is setting. We visited the city walls, pick your time to go as the heat is intense. Worth doing though. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location.

Quite well locates only 15 minutes from old town by bus or car, access to local beaches were great to have. Maro world is GREAT for children. Hotel staff were not that friendly, I would have expected better. Also, pillows were quite uncomfortable

This was a family vacation with my wife and daughter. The whole Valamar complex is incredible. 10/10 - location - 10 - property - 10 - people - 10 - food - 10 - activities - 10 Hopefully we will be back soon!

Die Benutzung der 3 Pools (2 vom Partnerhotel) hat und gut gefallen. Auch, dass man immer Handtücher bekommen hat war toll. Das Zimmer war geräumig und wurde auch immer gut gepflegt. Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig und gut. Die Preise in den Hotel-Restaurants/Bars waren etwas hoch für das was man bekommen hat. Die Pina Colada hat nach fast gar nichts geschmeckt, die Annanas war schon etwas älter… Die Klimaanlage war recht laut, aber war nicht so schlimm. Einige Strände in der Nähe (ca. 15min Gehzeit) Alles in Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

Everything was great during our stay. A/C could be better but worked well. Breakfast buffet was ver wide ranging and had plenty of options. Staff were great and friendly and helpful. Pools were nice but kids loved the slides but they get old ofter a few days. Overall great stay and great accommodations. Would come back here again.

Valamar Tirena is a beautiful resort with wonderful and helpful staff. The place is beautiful along with its location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had our daughter with us and she loved everything about the place. It is easy to head to the beach or catch a bus or cab into the old town so the location is very convenient. We recommend this place to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.
