I found this beautiful boutique hotel by accident and so happy I did. I spent two days on complete bliss. The location was central to the French Montreal. Close to metro. The restaurant serves authentic Ethiopian food. The cocktail prior to and dessert to follow was exceptional. I highly recommend. Adam was a wonderful host each morning with a cappuccino and croissant. I will return.

Everything was SUPERB. We spent one night in the penthouse suite, and it blew any hotel I’ve stayed at out of the water. Completely worth it - and honestly, better value than what you would get at hotels. I’ve stayed at the W in downtown Montreal, and this was even better. The bathroom was enormous, jacuzzi was total luxuriating, kitchen upgrades were so versatile and well thought through. The lighting and space was intelligent and beautifully decorated. It was artsy, fun and the staff was were impeccable. At 4am after a fast airport run, I returned and my key didn’t work. A staff member came up right away and solved it for me without any wait. In the morning they give a complimentary latte and croissant delivered to your room. This boutique hotel is NAILING it. They are attached to a delicious restaurant and patio, which you can easily order to your room if need be. I will be back. What a treat ❤️ thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kutuma. Our only regret was that it was a stopover for just one night so we couldn't enjoy it more. It was a beautifully-decorated, updated room with an extremely comfortable bed & variety of pillows. The tv connection was a bit spotty but that wasn't important for our stay. Our tub was deep and the shower was high-tech (actually took me a while to figure it out!) I'd recommend the valet parking (only ~$32 CAD) to lessen worry about street parking in a busy neighborhood. The connected restaurant looked AMAZING, can't wait to go back & try it. It's a family-owned property, and Adam was such a gracious host, truly wants your stay to be incredible. Leo checked us in and he was so welcoming. There *are* quite a few stairs if you are on a higher floor so be aware of that. Everything was fabulously clean and new. Loved it!

Great hotel above a popular Ethiopian restaurant in the perfect location in the Plateau. Staff could not have been more friendly. Very close to great food and Metro. Highly recommend.

Loved it!

The location was perfect and the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and all around wonderful. This place was an incredible value, and I would certainly stay here again. There is a daily rate to valet park the car, which I highly recommend, as parking in Montreal is limited. Once you are in the area everything you would like is within walking distance or a short Uber ride away. The staff were excellent here helping us with the luggage, the car park, breakfast, and anything else we contacted them for. The room itself was spacious and included a kitchenette which was a nice surprise!
