Was pleasantly surprised with this property Out of the really crowded touristy areas but with walking distance to many areas Dining options within a 10 min walk in any direction Felt safe walking around I can’t remember exactly but think it was about a 20 min walk to the old port where the marina is with shopping and food and beautiful board walk. Staff were amazing and beyond helpful Only dislike was the bed. Hard as a rock. Need to update mattresses

The staff at the check-in desk were extremely rude and impatient, but the other staff were nice. The hallways smelled of dampness and moisture, and the place was not clean enough. The location was not bad. Breakfast was average, with little variety but good quality. Overall, this place is not up to four-star hotel standards — it’s more like a two-star hotel, at best.

The room was too warm, AC did not work properly. Jacuzzi tub did not work. They sent someone to fix it, but could not get it fixed. Roof top tub was closed, it’s only available in the summer. Check in took a while. They could not find my reservation in their system.

Everything is near from the hotel and safe area the public transport is near and they are clean and nice

Excellent service and staff. Great breakfast. Room good, just a softer bed would be nice. Happily stay again…..already booked!

It would nice if there is clear advertising saying this hotel charge extra for tourists taxes I stay 4 days and got charge 50 euros for staying in the hotel

Check-in at Hotel Garbi-Melli was quick and easy, with the option to check in online—a great idea. I was given my room key and pointed to the lift, very straightforward. The staff were very friendly. I’d rate this as a good 3-star hotel, not great, and definitely not a 4-star. The gym was disappointing, with only three cardio machines, but there are gyms nearby. The spa/jacuzzi didn’t seem too inviting. Rooms and bathrooms were very small, but the location was perfect—walking distance from the metro and plenty of restaurants.

I needed a hotel at short notice for my business trip. This seemed well located. The rooms are small but have a nice bathroom. No real work desk and limited space for my bag. The internet while free, was appalling right throughout the building. WiFI showed excellent signal so was clearly a very cheap internet plan at low speed. Best I got was 3.5 MB/s and it kept dropping out. Reported it to front desk and the management just shrugged and said it is what it is.

Great location that’s slightly off the super touristy areas with tons of great restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The gym is literally a treadmill and elliptical which I was happy for the tread on a rainy morning. Central location to walk to many of the attractions. Would stay there again.

The pictures listed do not represent the property. The spa was cold and dirty. And the sauna in the lower level had used towels laying around and the spa there was also cold. Very unmaintained and not well kept.

Room is set up nicely & bathroom was large. We appreciated the excellent air conditioning & breakfast buffet was excellent. The beds were a little hard, but still we had a good night’s rest.
