Place smelled bad upon arrival, pool had some kind of film on it and seemed to be contributing to smell through whole place. Had broken picture in room, AC rattled the whole time it was on, the towel rack was broken off wall and missing and the shelving unit for towels fell off wall when closing door. Breakfast was horrible and ran out of many items. I have travelled for 40 years and this was by far the worst hotel I have been to. There is not one good thing I can say about the place.

The staff is wonderful - thank you for your smiling and welcoming presences (all staff that we interacted with). The room and breakfast met our needs. We are frequent Victorian Inn users.

Commons areas throughout hotel were dirty. When we first got to pool it had a film over the top, that should have been first clue to not let kids swim. Then, within our 30 mins at the pool we saw/killed 2 giant cockroaches. Took them to show front desk and all he said was “sorry. They won’t be there tomorrow. It’s summer so there is bugs.” Both beds had thin, pilled sheets and there were crumbs in both beds. One comforter had what appeared to be a blood stain. The pillows were flat and pillowcases thin. We opted to check out early and book elsewhere. We did bring our concerns to the person at the front desk and were told we could not get any type of refund and honestly he didn’t seem all that shocked or concerned by our complaints. Do not stay here. Oh and the “hot” breakfast was a joke other than the waffle maker.

Overall it was very nice. They even upgraded us!!

The hotel is on the main street through town. The rooms facing the street are very noisy. Staff was wonderful - very helpful and nice. The room needs tender loving care.

Knock before entering. When a guest is checking out, knock before entering NO MATTER WHAT UNTIL THAT GUEST HAS FULLY CHECKED OUT!

We checked in and were given the keys. Flying and dead Lady Bugs everywhere! I went to the desk and told the couple there and they said they had trouble with this room before. This was the 2nd room given to us, as the first room was to be upstairs, no elevator. With 3 back surgeries this past year I am not able to climb stairs. So a third room was given, a king size bed, but my husband said it was not suitable either. We asked for our money back to find a better hotel and the manager said it was too late for a refund. We did sleep in the 2nd room and the bed was ok, no bugs that we could see. Many in the bathroom however. they are not dangerous, but you don't want them for room mates.

The room was clean but the bathroom was a little dirty.

The main thing that really turned me off were the very worn sheets and blanket. The faucet was corroded and the lid to the toilet tank didn’t fit properly. There was dirt and hair in the corners and something had spilled in the freezer.

Breakfast was inedible. My bed vibrated from the pool filter motor. Also the pool that we were excited about, was shut down by the Nebraska State Inspection Department. The room was cleared of garbage once in a three night stay. Towels were never changed. Beds never made. Stained towels in the room with letter on the desk threatening a $20 charge if we stain one ourselves!
