We stayed in the room that was off the parking lot. The room was cozy and best of all we did not have to go upstairs. The young man that greated us when we checked in was very helpful. The house is charming.

No internet or tv service.

Mark was a wonderful host, the accommodation is quiet and clean, great for parking and close to all the sites in town, wld recommend Marshall Slocum to anyone!

Very quiet street and a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants .

Owner was there at all times and was very accommodating. Room was clean, comfortable and inviting. Felt like home

Loved everything about our stay at Marshall Slocom. staff was excellent, room was great and cozy, felt like i was at home. this was my wife and I's first time staying at an Inn, and this has only motivated us to start staying at them moving forward. We cant stay thank you enough to the Slocom staff.

The B&B owners were very friendly and helpful. They recommended places to see and dine, many in walking distance. The B&B was beautifully decorated, had the amenities we needed. I would stay here again if back in Newport.

Great location, we could walk everywhere. Room was small but comfortable and they made sure it was well represented in description so we knew what to expect.

Comfortable. Old world. Very clean. Adequately appointed. Not accessible for people with mobility issues.

Solid, nice place to stay in Newport

We were in town for just one night. Perfect spot to stay ! Easy walk to Tennis Hall of fame, and a short drive into the heart of Newport.

Great place and convenient to everything.

Beautiful cozy hotel perfect for a long weekend. Easy 10-20 walk to all the attractions and sights in town, close to coffee shops and restaurants. Great staff, easy check in/out, super clean and easy parking in the back of the property. Highly recommend!

Great location. Walking distance to wharfs , shopping, and restaurants but enough removed from busy tourist area. Comfortable room and quiet with off street private parking which is a plus as parking was difficult and few areas where is it free. Only issue was the bed was a bit too soft for my husbands preference but I had no problem. Slept very well

Location is walking distance to most everything in Newport. Bathroom is updated and clean, linens also fresh.
