The Windsor Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We were in the apartment. My children/grandchildren were in 2 other suites. Our room because a great gathering area for meals and family fun. Though the rooms might use a little up grade, everything was clean and working. Would definitely return.

Everything good however parking was too expensive. Should be included in the price of the room.

The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the Avon Theatre. The room was small but big enough to move around in and comfortable. The bathroom was also small but a comfortable size. The bed was good. The staff were nice. The air conditioning worked well. I had to jiggle the handle of the toilet to stop it from running and make it refill. The complimentary breakfast is only coffee/tea and a choice of croissants or a granola parfait. It also isn't served until 7:30am, which is a little late. We ended up going to Features for breakfast (it opens at 6:30am), which was excellent - good selection, good prices, good portion sizes, great food, then got the hotel coffee and a croissant for an early lunch/snack at 10am.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and had all that we needed for a 1 night stay. The location is perfect as it is close to many restaurants and the Avon theatre

The Windsor Hotel is a lovely older building with much charm. While the rooms could use a little sprucing up, they were clean and well equipped. We had the apartment suite. It was perfect for a family event. My children & family were in 2 other rooms. Lots of room for the 11 of us to get together to share meals and family fun. Loved having a kitchen to prepare breakfast and snacks for us all. The staff was absolutely the best. So attentive and very friendly. All our request were quickly tended to and always with a smile. Will be going back.

Continental breakfast was horrible. Toilet needed fixing Never like paying for parking when you are staying at a their hotel. On the pro side, very quaint and perfect for being in the downtown area, close to shops and restaurants and walking trails.

We've stayed here twice, and will again. The first time we had a very small room, but at a recent stay the room was huge. The bathroom was European tiny, and no counter or even sinktop room to put anything. Still, it was clean and just fine. The location is perfect, and the staff is better than perfect—helpful, kind, and knew how to take care of business (including running outside to stop a parking cop from giving us a ticket as we were leaving and loading up).

Perfect location for enjoying the Stratford festival! Clean and quiet rooms, and great food in their new restaurant!

The rooms were very clean, the mattress was excellent and overall the interior is clean looking, modern and cozy. Very competitively priced, friendly helpful staff, will book early again next season to ensure there is availability. Super happy with our stay and very close and walkable to all amenities, theatres, restaurants, shops, etc.

This hotel has it all for a mid-priced hotel! Clean, updated room with impecable bed linnens, great ammeneties including snacks and water and soft drinks, and an excellent restaurant in the lobby. And it is located downtown, a block from the Avon theater. We've stayed in Stratford many times the past few years, this is one hotel we will definately be coming back to again and again.

Water from the tap in the shower was brown at first. Front desk employee was not very helpful.

This is a vintage property with renovations so the suites are unique. Ours was a 1 bedroom with pullout couch and quite roomy. The bathroom was very old European. But the location of the property was excellent with terrific shopping and restaurants nearby. The Stratford Festival Theatre was within walking distance. We had a nice stay.

This hotel is in a great location & has lovely common area (lobby, stairwells, restaurant) Our room was a mini suite & the layout was good for having a separate seating area. The bathroom was in desperate need of a Reno! Everything from the tub, the window frames, the door, the caulking, etc …..really quite awful. Also the bedding is not the nicest quality unless you like silky type sheets & they had a strong fragrance which could be a challenge for people with sensitivities. Unscented laundry soap should be standard. The staff were very pleasant & efficient but I wouldn’t return to this hotel until they upgrade the bathrooms.

So disappointing. Did not want to write this review as I never do on this site, but the hotel receptionist ensured me that someone would reach out after we checked out. After many attempts to talk with that receptionist and get a response from management, we never contacted for an apology. So let me count the ways we were disappointed: - bedbugs in bed - partner bitten 10 times in the night - weird antiseptic smell in room - clogged bath/shower - no one at front desk between 11pm and 8am (hotel seemed deserted) - stains on sheets (blood?) and mattress - had to leave hotel at 5:30am because room felt uninhabitable with smell, shower, and bugs; just drove around - after coming back at 8am to “check out” when someone would be at desk, we calmly but firmly shared our frustration. Receptionist seemed genuinely shocked and apologetic. She said she’d talk to management and they’d be sure to follow up with us about the experience. - no response from anyone at the hotel via email or phone after leaving multiple messages We LOVED our time in Stratford and had stayed at an amazing AirBNB earlier in the week. We were only at the Windsor for one night and about 7 total hours. The experience really sullied the whole trip.

Everything was fantastic, and everyone on the staff is super friendly! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent!

Great stay. Definently would stay again.
