Great place to stay. Would stay there again.

Lovely place in northern Michigan!

Cozy clean rooms and specious Perfect location to walk bike to downtown harbor area. Dock area was nice to watch sunsets and paddle board launched. Breakfast delicious and nice selection. Lobby and grounds immaculate, and staff courteous.

Our stay at the Colonial Inn was amazing. Everything was phenomenal. If felt like you had stepped back in time, but with today’s amenities. The weather was cool and we were able to enjoy a cozy fire in our room.

Have stayed here a couple days every year for past 5 years. Clean rooms, courteous staff, delicious breakfast, and the rooms and grounds are beautiful. Will be returning.

Property was in a good location . Walkable to the lake.Nice staff .Breakfast was good. Parking was a bit difficult, though there was space the spots are in an awkward position. Room was neat overall but there were many insects in the room especially behind the curtains.

The room was nice but the lack of a curtain on the french doors allowed to much light at night. The adjoining rooms are cause fir a lot of extra noise. The grounds were immaculate and the staff were very friendly.

Beautiful place & rooms. We requested a quiet room and didn't really get that, though. It also didn't seem that secure and the shower was small. The bed seemed comfortable, though.

this Inn is quaint & personable. Though the property was built in the 1800's it appeared to have been updated and has a great vibe.
