Lovely hotel. Exceptional clean and well maintained. Room was very clean and well presented. Air conditioning did not work as it was showing a fault code on the wall display, so we could not heat or cool room to our liking. Bed mattress was very firm and a bit uncomfortable at times. Room TV remote control batteries were flat on arrival, and were changed by staff upon request. Staff at hotel were really lovely, always kind, polite and helpful. Bar was very good with a good choice of reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was very tasty, good quality and plenty to choose from. The breakfast area layout was frustrating, as the queue for hot food run right across the serving area and out into the seated area. This was frustrating as it blocked off the 'cold items' which were on a middle island servery and made it very difficult to get items from there or use the hot drinks machines. In fairness it was a busy Sunday morning and we had no problems on the next two days. The hotel felt safe at all times, and no issues with any noise. The location was excellent, with a tram stop just a few minutes walk to take you into the centre of Blackpool. Would I stay again? Most certainly I would!

Overall good experience. Good to see the hotel had electric car charging station, but unable to use due to non electric vehicles parking in these spaces. Needs to be better managed.

The room was modern and comfortable with a lovely shower and bathroom, the chrome was all polished. Bed very comfortable and large TV on the wall. The hotel was very quiet at night. The bar area was clean and spacious with a good selection of drinks and food. We ordered toasties which were made with cheap white bread and were soggy on one side due to the salad being next to it but otherwise ok. Breakfast was plentyful and nicely cooked with a good selection of cereal, fruit yoghurt etc. The hotel windows were very dirty which spoiled the view outside so not worth the upgrade to sea view this is due to being so close to the beach with sand blowing against the building. Car park is £17 per 24 hours but if you can find a space in front of the hotel it's free

Staff lovely, room was clean, sofa bed was not made up for our daughter to sleep in and she did not have any bedding we had to ask a cleaner who luckily was giving a pillow to the room next door and she did then go in when we went out for tea and made up the sofa bed. Evening food was average, breakfast selection was really good but very overwhelming as guests hustling and bustling in all directions no sense of order. The bedroom temperature was fine when we were going to sleep, woke up through the night and it’s almost as if the heating had been turned up full whack. Woke up with a very stuffy nose and a back back/neck due to the income mattress which felt like the springs were digging into our back and the pillows were not supportive of the neck in the slightest.

Checking in, mentioned a sea view would be nice, then got allocated a standard sea view room in preference to the premium non sea view room, the allocated room was significantly cheaper, asked to change back got offered some choice, a premium room with double twin beds looking over car park, and a King room, larger but with a sea view. Opted for the King room but it just left a feeling of it was a lottery, if you were lucky enough to be offered an upgrade, I would have thought it to be a premium room with sea view. Good point, staff came across as friendly and helpful. Breakfast quality varied across our 3 mornings. Our bed was a sprung mattress, firm and noisy if turning. Room servicing was fine.

We managed to park on the road outside this property and I’m glad we did because my 90yr mum couldn’t walk far parking in their car park is expensive and has limited space. I asked for a double room with disabled access because my room has trouble using the bathroom they didn’t have one on the ground but they said they had one on the 2nd foor but when we went to the room their was only 1 bed so we had to swap with my daughter and partner so I had to put a chair next to the toilet in our room to help my mum use the toilet but then we didn’t have space to move around in the bathroom but we made do. The room was clean and tidy but the beds were very uncomfortable kept making a springy noise everytime I moved I don’t like using air-con because I always end up with a chest infection so we turned it off the room was very warm and they don’t have windows you can open which I prefer we didn’t really bother with the tv or coffee making facilities it didn’t have a safe neither which I prefer and also to say it’s a room for 4 people it only had 3 hangers there was also no draws in the room. The breakfast is buffet and it was just ok there wasn’t enough fruit only 2 kinds and they only had scrambled eggs which I don’t like I prefer normal eggs the sausages were ok but the bacon was very fatty they also didn’t have much to choose from the pastry section only 2 kinds they had a waffle machine but I prefer 1 big waffle not 4 little ones because they end up being overcooked.

Wonderful stay as always, comfy, clean and cosy. Made even better by the most friendliest staff member Kay, who always had a warm welcome every time. Not much of the other staff seemed interested in working there, but weren't horrible like other hotels we've stayed at. Just seems like something has changed since our many visits before in the past. All the other staff members weren't interested in chat or even noticing you were there in most cases. No management visible and there to welcome us as guests or say hello while walking around restaurant, bar or reception area was a weird concept, unlike before. Always was a managerial person wandering around. Just tired out staff with a bit of a smile. Previous management were always "on the shop floor" with a smile and a welcoming "Hello how are you Mr......, is everything alright with your stay" To be very honest, doesnt seem like Hiltons friendliness anymore. The reason we have retuened many times... (Other than that one lovely member of staff!!l
