Quiet erea close to the coast for a relaxing couple of days. Wonderful staff, hotel, breakfast and dinner. Able to walk down to the coast for a stroll and to admire the beautiful homes.

We stayed here for a mini cycling vacation. A great place to relax in a small hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. Felt very safe riding out on the roads from this hotel.

Reception very good. Hotel very nice. It goes down hill from there. We tried to get afternoon tea but no food was available. A waiter said sometimes we have food, sometimes we don't. Today no. Had to make do with a packet of crisps. Service was poor. We were there for a wine society evening and dinner. The main course was bad. The fish that my wife had was not good and others at the table agreed. My meat dish was, and I struggle to describe it, not edible. The room was cold and, despite turning up the room thermastat, no warm air came out. All in all we will not be staying here again. No where near a 4 star hotel. Finally some of the staff were not very friendly.

The hotel has a very nice atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is huge. The staff was excellent. It is a little out of the way but we’ll worth it.

Fabulous hotel, fabulous location, beautiful breakfast in great indoor/outdoor dining room. Pool area is great and there were beds readily available. Our room was very small and overlooking the car park but other than that, superb

Great location 25m pool which as I love swimming was great. Bed slightly hard and only a double so slightly smaller than we would have liked but apart from that a superb experience.

I stayed here with my daughter and I cannot fault this hotel - light, spacious room, great outdoor area including a fantastic pool, friendly, helpful staff and great breakfasts. The hotel is a couple of miles out of town but it’s a lovely walk along the sea front to the town and marina - or there are buses that stop outside the hotel and the cost of a taxi is very reasonable. We would definitely return!

Reception staff were very helpful & friendly , the room was well appointed with a lovely terrace overlooking the gardens & sea. Breakfast was a lovely continental style buffet with plenty of choice , our only minor negative comment was that when we gave our room number at breakfast the waitress didn't explain that hot food was also available & there was no information on the table indicating this either. Day 1 we weren't offered hot food at all , day 2 we had enjoyed the continental selection before we were asked if we would like eggs / bacon - so were already full up. The hotel is slightly out of the centre - which was good from our point of view as it meant it was quiet. A short 30 - 40 min stroll along the beach front will get you into the centre.

Lovely hotel with a totally different ambience from most placces: exceptionally tasteful decor & really pleasant personnel.
