Large room. Good desk. Bathroom smelt a little bit of dump. Food wasn't good: cold vegetables, cold chips, rubbery pizza. Also, the walkway between the bedrooms & the bar/reception was exposed to outside temperature, making too cold / uncomfortable so had to carry a coat - a nuisance.

Everything was entirely up to standard

Unfortunately for us we arrived later in day and upon returning to our room later that night we found our bed was unclean.Also we had opened wardrobes to look for more pillows to find the previous visitors used socks. Staff were helpful in moving room but not ideal circumstances.

We arrived late and in the dark. We missed the car park because there was no lighted signs, the ones there were unseeable in the dark.

Feels like a hotel that’s bitten off more than it can chew. Lack of towels and water in the room, had to ask for more. Spa facilities good, if not a little basic. Has a touch of a school or detention centre rather than a “luxury” spa hotel perhaps. Someone in the room next door woke us up at 6am with the most disturbing guttural noises. Bordering on vomiting, perhaps near death. Hopefully they made it to breakfast. Thin walls. Staff were friendly enough and the iron was clean at least.

Br3akfast and evening bar menu were great

I had to check in late, but the receptionist was very accommodating in making sure I could check in. Rooms were very nice, just wish I had more time to use the spa facilities.

Food wasn’t up to standard and very expensive.

The only issue we had was when we finished our meal in the bar the plates and cutlery were not cleared from our table and were still on the table when we left the bar at the end of the evening

Bedroom needs updating a the tv ratio was wrong so wasdifficult to watch.We would. Go back however

Everything was good

Had to wait for someone to come to the desk and then she forgot to give us a key. I am allergic to feathers and she brought ida new comforter and pillow but it was actually a dirty matresss cover. Was so gross. We just slept under the duvet cover. Hair in the shower. Not impressed at all.

Driving into the hotel was quite dark and the main entrance was not lit up. Parking was difficult to find and no signs for disabled parking visible. The room on entry had a bad odour. However the dinner was lovely and staff friendly., but srroundings were very dull in the restaurant. The hotel itself lacked any atmosphere.

The room was clean, well resourced and the pool is lovely. Breakfast is fantastic.

Reception staff need to be more helpful when we checked in no information of where our room was. We had to ask no warm welcome. Not great a great first impression. We were just handed a sheet of paper with information. Spa is dirty. needs a good clean. Again, reception staff not helpful chatting we signed in and then asked where we had to go. Room was lovely, very clean. although walking along main corridors, there were lots of bottles glasses ECT from previous guests left along the windowsills for a long period of time not cleared up until following morning! Housekeeping staff very noisy in the mornings and woke us up, even though we had signs on our doors, asking not to be disturbed. Restaurant, managers, warm and welcoming. Our waiter Craig was outstanding. He’s service and attention to detail was excellent on Valentines evening, our meal was superb. Sunday morning breakfast was absolutely horrendous not enough staff no cups, glasses, plates, bowls. There was literally no food. complete an utter chaos! We had to try and find a table and wait at least 40 minutes with one man trying to do everything!

We were staying in the Manor House that is dated, windows didn’t close properly and water was never hot, only warm
