Clean room, awesome staff, especially for dining, breakfast included was great

Lovely modern hotel, very clean. Up a steep hill so advisable to get the little shuttle from the ferry if travelling with cases! Lovely staff, great facilities. Bath a bit tricky to get into so check if they have accessible bathrooms if you are at all compromised physically. Lovely food, reasonably priced and the best iced tea in town! Breakfast lovely.

Rooms were nice and breakfast was very good. Not really close enough to walk to Old Town so expect cab fees

Room was clean and pool was great! We had issue with TV and then had issue with room keys!

This hotel sits up high on a hill which means it offers great views, but you will have a 10-minute uphill walk to get there from the ferry. The hotel staff met us at the ferry and offered a free luggage transfer from ferry to hotel lobby. So, we did not have to carry bags uphill. They bring them down after your stay too. You don’t have to reserve this, just look for the hotel van when you get off the ferry. The hotel has several buildings. We were in building #1 which was very convenient. There is a nice pool at the hotel, outdoor fitness equipment, and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast is included. Try their pizza for lunch- it’s great. The room included a bottle of water, which was much appreciated after the walk there. The shower amenities included soap and shampoo; but I recommend bringing your own, especially if you need conditioner. They have a blowdryer available in room, too. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and one of the best values for the money in Hvar.

Location was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool and bar staff were amazing. Love the scooter rental at the property. Our experience with Christian, the owner and his girl friend made our scooter experience a pleasure, not to mention the incredible scooter touring experience we enjoyed

Location location location. It’s an easy walk to the port and restaurants (make sure to use their luggage assistance when arriving/leaving by ferry). It’s also an easy walk to a great beach to enjoy sunchairs, a swim, and hangout. The pool bar makes great drinks and the breakfast was a nice spread- omelette station, pancakes, fruit, breads, etc. The onsite rental for 4-wheelers was great. We used their services and it was a great way to see the island and being able to rent and return right at the hotel was a great perk.

The hotel itself was beautiful. Luggage pick up and drop off at the ferry is a perfect start to the experience. The breakfast was delicious and such a great variety of foods. The pool is amazing for a relaxing day without having to go anywhere. The bed was a little soft, but that’s just a preference! Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Breakfast was good, fresh juices were wonderful. Huge assortment of fruits and breads and made to order omelets. Pool was beautiful with chair and lounges, definitely understaffed though, one person to distribute and collect towels, make drinks, take food orders and then distribute the food left everyone waiting.

Our stay at Pharos was perfect! It was exactly what we hoped for during our stay in Hvar. The highlights included the breakfast buffet, which was large and full of delicious options, the pool and pool bar, and the proximity to town and beaches nearby. a few things to keep in mind, to reach the hotel by foot you will be walking uphill - a very easy walk uphill in our opinion but an uphill nonetheless, they do offer baggage pickup and drop off at the Hvar ferry port if you are coming in/ out on one of the public scheduled ferries! Very helpful for us with heavy backpacks. Another thing to note is that because it is at the top of a hill, it gets a little windier there than by the beach. So if it is hot by the beach, we found that the sun was still really warm by the pool but the wind cooled you down. We were travelling right before peak season so we can imagine it being perfect in the summer!

Good base for 1 night stay in Hvar, if staying longer looked like it has a nice swimming pool area and bar. Breakfast was well stocked and varied. Really liked that the hotel took your cases back down to the ferry marina at the end of your stay. Wish they'd of communicated this before arriving as was a lot of steps to be pulling luggage up on arrival as hotel is at the top of the hill out of the way.

The only thing I want to comment on is the loud music all day long everywhere! Couldn't escape it!

The stay was excellent, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our shower was leaking a lot of water from the ceiling seemingly whenever the room above us was showering. There is a luggage service to and from the port which is very convenient and the hotel is only about a 5-10min walk into the main town area. Overall a great stay.

It was a grest location, most staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was great.

We came of the ferry so didnt drive up a steep hill would be an issue if you had mobility problems but not a proper for us ,lovely pool and bar plenty of sun loungers and good chilled out music room was sufficient clean with nice bathroom comfortable bed ,also breakfast was plentiful and loads of options ,had dinner once large portions and very tasty enjoyed my time at the pharos hotel would stay again if ever in that area.

Excellent facility,

Overall, this place seems like a security hazard. I had one of my most traumatic experiences as my partner and I were sleeping a drunk individual was able to access our room and we were awaken by him with his flashlight on. This was a terrifying moment and has left me quite scarred. The room was okay in general and the hotel is not bad but this experience was definitely my worst.

Enjoyed our stay at Pharos. Good location & pool & bar were great.
