Excellent place!

The property is by far one of, if not the best in Antigua. Everyone was super accommodating and professional. Great jump point to other events in the area.

The property is so beautiful, it is a destination unto itself with several museums, ruins, a crypt and antiquities everywhere. The room was immaculately clean and I splurged, so I had a dining room, living room and jacuzzi, along with a double rain shower stall which was amazing. The bed was really comfortable and I got a very good night's sleep. I ate at the Refectario, and the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The staff wants to please the guests, and that is very appreciated. I had a disappointing experience at the spa, but the spa manager immediately offered me a discount for my treatment, which was fine. The one comment I would make for English speaking travelers coming to Antigua, you will need to understand basic phrases in Spanish or it will be very challenging for you to get around. Most people I met, including the hotel staff, know very little English.

I was next to a closet for the employees so i would hear every time they would get thing's from the closet.

After 37 minutes waiting for my room after the 3:00pm check in time, I noticed other people getting cold drinks and towels for the heat. And I was given none. When i finally was given my key I got to my room and the cleaning staff was still doing their work. Not what one would expect from the supposd best hotel in Antigua

The premises were a convent and are rebuilt to be modern with a great staff, gardens, spa and delicious meals!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was amazing and we ate the breakfast every morning and swam in the pool several times a day. All of the views from the room were amazing. The hotel was clean and smelled great. The layout of the room and the amenities were thoughtful and it seemed like there was a lot of details added to make the guests comfortable. Everyone we spoke to was kind and helpful. It was great to be able to charge everything to our rooms, whether at the pool or in the room. The whole environment was relaxing and made me feel like I was having an authentic experience and not just sleeping in a room. The rooms had very good internet speeds for working or gaming. They brought by several bottles of water a day and always supplied fresh towels. Highly recommend.

A must if you visit Antigua Guatemala. It's like staying in a Museum with the friendliest staff.... each room is a piece of art... This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I've visited in Latin America. I definitely recommend it.

Everything was amazing about this hotel. The room was full of character and immaculate, beautiful grounds and within walking distance of so much in the town, excellent staff which were friendly and very helpful with anything I needed. Highly recommend!

This place is so beautiful and the grounds, pool, and bedrooms were amazing! We stayed in the junior suite and it was so elegant, special and comfortable. The bed was amazing and the bed sheets felt wonderful

This is the most welcoming Hotel I've ever visited. In the many countries that I've stayed, I'd never experienced something like this. Simply beautiful: amenities, delicious food, the room, the pools, the museums... Wow such an indescribable experience. I wish we had expended more time over there but will definitely be back for more

stunning antiquated property, not for children which i love

I wouldn’t look at any other hotel to stay at when revisiting Antigua! This is the place!! Front desk staff was a bit bumpy however.

Our favorite place in Antigua. Been here 3 times in 25 years and won't stay anywhere else. While the hotel has changed (expanded) over the years, the service and customer service remain top-notch.
