I like the pool and the small private airport next door

I booked 2 non-smoking rooms, but when I arrived they told me they had nothing but smoking rooms left.

The HOTEL caught fire. Folks are required to stay in the MOTEL area. Even though clean and the Management & Staff are truly GREAT,,, the Motel is quite old and we will not return until the HOTEL is open. Management said they are going SLOW, but hope by end of July 2025.

The room was very clean and i was very happy with it. I wasnt aware that there was a fire there in Oct. I was expecting a pool, laundry room and an ice machine. My granddaughter was playing in a softball tournament and we especially needed the laundry room and ice machine. I think that there shiuld have been a temporary note added to the Motel 6 (Abbeville, LA) website stating that those amenities ARE NOT AVAILABLE at this time. Even though I was happy, i was expecting those amenities and paid for them before i knew those weren't available. I have to also mention, that the hotels in the area were booked and I had booked the rooms at Motel 6 weeks in advance due to the favorable amenities. I was very disappointed when i asked about the ice maker the next morning and found out that it was not working due to the fire in Oct. Then the laundry room was damaged during the fire. I wasn't able to wash uniforms, put ice in her drink cooler or let her have a dip in the pool. Had I known that those amenities were not available, i wouldn't have stayed there. Sort of like false advertisement.

Not to clean but felt safe beds were very noisy not to comfortable

Toilet ran all night, bed was extremely loud could here the springs when simply sitting on it, woke up every time rolling over.

You can't access the main lobby due to a recent fire and from what I understand some of the rooms are unusable. Needless to say we did not get the room we paid for and not entirely sure we didn't get overcharged for the room we did get. The room wasn't bad it did have a weird smell almost moldy basement smell. Oddly when we first got to the room the tub faucet was dripping water while the tub was plugged, so there was about 8in of standing water. The room was tidy and nice but the floor was gritty like they haven't swept in a while. Everything worked TV, lamps, faucet, toilet, good water pressure etc.

Very dated. Dingy, dirty, beds are not comfortable, in general this is a last resort place to stay. Sadly we had paid a non refundable rate

The toilet wobbled everywhere when you sat on it. The minifridge and microwave were both gross, and the rack that held the towels was so gross I tried to wipe it down myself. There was even something sticky spilled in one of the drawers that had never even been attempted to be wiped out

Good thing I called a week prior to our arrival. There was a fire in their main 'enclosed' building. We had to stay in the back section where you park and just walk into your room. A bit osier due to main road out in front and the main interior door is not 100 fit. The shower curtain ROD was hung incorrectly so the shower water was able to land on the floor. The rooms are excellently cleaned every day and linens changed/new towels. The rate is great because we always bring our own toiletries and eat out breakfast at the Waffle House on hwy 167. VJ the Manager is very friendly & accommodating.

Will come again

No coffee pot, no breakfast, no evaluator, one worker very rude when he was checking in an elderly woman. Rooms could use more detailed cleaning. There offering what they have available is not all correct

When we arrived, there were several hunters out in the parking lot drinking and grilling out of the back of their trucks, didnt really think much of that or mind that, but at around 2am there was a gun that went off in the parking lot. Im sure a drunken accident. Then starting at around 4am, a biker pulled up to the front doors and bounced his bike off the rev limiter for several minutes, then checked in for an hour, and left. Came back an hour or so later, doing the same thing.. why was he aloud to check in in the first place and then return?! Not to mention we had a 3 month old trying to sleep through all this. Aweful place to stay. And not safe.

Mold in the ceilings and restroom. ACs didn’t work in both of our rooms .

It was very good except for the wifi. Could not connect to it and they tried to help but to no end.

When we checked in, I specifically asked the desk clerk about the smoking situation (I'm allergic), and she said she would put us in a room (1st floor) away from the smoking rooms and that "we would be fine." I couldn't detect any smoke when we got to the room, but during the night the smoke came through the hallways and ventilation system and I couldn't sleep because of the smell. So if you have a smoke allergy, don't book here. The walls and ceiling are also very thin and you can hear your neighbors clearly.

The room we were assigned was filthy and disgusting. There were food stains and fecal mater smeared on walls and dried food on floors. I requested refund after two hours because I had to go directly to work after check in and was refused refund. They moved me to a cleaner room thankfully but the refrigerator was leaking water in the floor and air conditioning was noisy also room above us had children running across ceiling all night which was strangely loud to hear through the ceilings.

Great accommodations for the price I paid. Not enough light in the room & no facial tissues. These are my only negatives. The person at the check in desk was very nice and helpful.
