Excellent location with all attractions in Alghero within a reasonable walking distance. Great breakfast with a gorgeous view.

We came to Alghero to celebrate our anniversary and had repeatedly tried to get a reservation at Mabrouk restaurant,(the Stanley Tucci) recommended from his CNN show but we couldn’t secure one on our own, but Chiara at the reception desk called and amazingly got us in for an 8pm seating! So grateful and so happy we had an incredible dining experience! It was everything and more! Frazier Grazie, Robert and Louise, ciao Alghero xoxo

The hotel is ok but it is located in the middle of the ghetto. The area around the hotel had a lot of trash and graffiti on the walls and dog litter all over the sidewalks. Not the kind of place I imagined. A lot of the people in the city were not very friendly either. Lastly, strong, stinky odors at the beach, made it very offputting and not fun to swim at! In contrast, Saint Theresa and La Maddalena were very friendly and very clean and very beautiful.

Great hotel and great staff!

This hotel is only a few minutes walk to the old town where you will find all the bars and restaurants. It’s about a 10-15 min walk to a beach with loungers. Our only complaint was the allocated car park . It’s about a 7 min walk away and it’s very tight yo get in and out. My husband scratched his hire car! The staff are lovely we had a bay view room with a terrace. It was a junior suite but it was really just a triple room . The view was amazing the same view you get when you are in the Blau bar where breakfast is served. You see amazing sunsets there too.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is great, jus few blocks from the historic center. The room was very spacious for our family of 4 (2 adults-2 teens) with beautiful views from all windows. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, they have such a big variety of food, cold and hot, very clean and neat. We had rented a car for our stay in Sardinia and the parking was easy, some days we found free parking spots, some days we had to pay at the meters but it is very affordable. We felt very safe at all times. We walked every night to have dinners at the historic center every night. There is a super market only few feet away. We will absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be back

Ideally situated 4 Star easy access to City. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the moment of my booking to the arrival, subsequent stay and departure all staff were nothing less than fantastic. Ever so helpful, polite and knowledgable. We only booked B&B as we knew the area and were very much looking forward to dining out each night. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Copious amount of coffee and tea on offer. The view from the SkyBar/Breakfast area has to be the best in Alghero. I could not fault the hotel or its staff both were excellent. 3 minute walk to the city centre and the marina. We will book again.

Beds were not comfortable and pillows were flat. AC would not go lower than 24. Rooms little small for the price. Very clean and the breakfast was awesome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ Hotel Catalunya. Great location near restaurants, shopping and beaches, and a very friendly and extremely helpful staff. And what a beautiful city Alghero is!

The location to the old town was perfect.

Great hotel but the rooftop bar staff seemed absolutely overwhelmed by a small number of clients. But the view is amazing. Particular highlight is the breakfast- phenomenal. And the rooms are really spacious, modern and quiet. Definitely would stay here again. Great value for money.

We stayed at 3 different Hotels w found on the hotels.com site. They were all good. They had great locations and the accommodations were perfect. Staff was also excellent.

The junior suite was spacious and had a big balcony with a stunning view! Very centric

Pros: Staff very nice and accommodated a late check out. There is a luggage room too which is very handy. Location is very good. Cons: Room was quite small. Air conditioning would not go below 22 degrees at all and then seemed to rise by itself during the night to 27! Very difficult to control it and still not sure how we managed to get it down. Lobby is a little bland. The stay was fine but our other Alghero hotel was better.

Great location, beautiful sea view and comfortable room.

The room sticked du to detergent, the 4-person room had sofa beds and couldn’t accommodate a man with 185 cm height! The breakfast and its view were great!
