We've visited Fuerteventura a few times now, and stayed in this area each time. We usually stay in the hotel next door which is a 5 star, but decided to stay at the Elba this time which is a 4 star, but in all honesty we were not disappointed with our choice. We did bed and breakfast and the food and options in the morning were great. The facilities were really nice, great pools and grounds with access to the beach too. Staff were bang on point, and proper looked after us whilst celebrating a special date for us too. Rooms were kept clean throughout our stay and the air-con did a great job keeping us cool. There were no towels in the room on arrival, but I went to the front desk after waiting a while for some to be brought to our room and the staff gave me a couple of pool towels to get us through until the towels arrived the next day with housekeeping. No big deal at all. One thing that was different to other hotels I've stayed in is that we had to pay to use the room safe. €3 Euro's a day, so €21 for the week. I only mention this so you know what to expect before booking or on arrival. Like I said at the beginning, we normally stay in the 5 star next door, but I will happily be returning here again when visiting Fuerteventura. If you need a good affordable place to eat nearby I cannot recommend the Fado Rock Steakhouse enough. It's a 10-15 minute walk away. I eat there every night I'm on the island. The Elba Carlota Beach & Golf Resort is a hotel I definitely recommend.

Property was advertised as a spa hotel in the description .There is no spa on the premises. Also a sauna is advertised again no sauna on site. Only booked my stay here for the spa. RUINED the hole holiday.

This is my 4th time staying at this property and I really love visiting the hotel. I've previously reviewed the hotel, amenities and transport options in detail in previous reviews (see September 2022) so won't repeat here. Suffice to say I thoroughly enjoyed a hassle free couple of weeks in the sun in a nice hotel with excellent staff.

The hotel can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by taxi from the airport at a cost of ~€18. You can also take a local bus (service #3) for ~€2, but it takes a little longer as it serves a number of local towns on route. Guests can access the beach areas via the hotel gardens with a shopping centre (Atlantico Centro Comercial) which includes a large supermarket, also being nearby. The hotel staff are amongst the best I have encountered at a large hotel. Everyone is pleasant, friendly and very helpful. My room was on the 5th floor, furnished to a good standard and I had no issues with noise and slept very well. I had half board and was impressed by the variety and standard of food which was available at both breakfast and dinner. In summary, a well-run hotel which I would highly recommend, particularly, for those with young families.

Great position, right on the beach and a short and lovely walk to the old town.

Cruise like feel. Paid for all inclusive but it was limited to very low end drinks. Cocktails were poorly mixed and did not taste great to include the sangria; stick to beer or wine. Very nice servers, very friendly. No sit down restaurants on property, all meals were buffet style. The jacuzzi heat stopped working after the first day we arrived, informs the front desk daily, they replied with the same reply daily, we will submit a maintenance request. Unfortunately, did not get to use during our stay. Good location, next to a mall and the beach. Had good activities for children on the weekend. If your looking for a getaway to spoil yourself or it’s a special occasion, I would recommend a different hotel.

I really liked it here, clean and spacious rooms and all the staff are amazing and very helpful. The queue for the lobby bar wasn't great but that was the only negative. The pools were great, as were the daily aquafit classes, such good fun. I liked the food, there are loads of choices so you couldn't go hungry, some of it could have been a bit hotter but I tended to wait for the freshly cooked items i.e king prawns, squid and steak. The location was ideal being right on the beach and a nice level walk into the town. Beautiful sunrises too.

Relatively clean and tidy but you could tell it has been closed for a while due to covid.

Love the hotel, great staff. Unfortunately one of the pools is empty and its like a building site. They are working on it but dont know how long it will take.

The hotel is on the flight path of landing aircraft, less than 300 feet above. The frequency of aircraft and the noise would ruin our stay, we decided within an hour to leave and find a restful hotel. It is unacceptable this issue is not noted for would be customers, at least so they may make an informed choice

Great staff, especially cheerful on the reception floor bar!

My biggest problem where the flies. We where staying at a hotel before just down the road and there where no flies there. We could not stay by the pool as they where so bad. My opinion is that the floors where not cleaned properly inside and outside. It is such a pity as the staff are very very helpful and the property could be excellent.

Unfortunately hotel is a bit run down. Flies everywhere. Pool is lovely except for flies. Towels need all replacing very old. Entertainers are excellent can’t fault them. Food not great / luke warm. Fresh omelettes unfortunately disappointing where they didn’t use spoons to add ingredients used hands with gloves on but got other ingredients in it I didn’t want.
