Beautiful historical building with memorabilia

An excellent stay. Warm and comfortable. The power shower was amazing and washed away my fatigue and stress. Lovely staff.

Very well maintained, clean and elegant.

Lovely room with character in a historic building. Front desk staff were very nice and I enjoyed being able to leave my key with them instead of carrying it around all day.

The property is private. Within walking distance to the Royal Mile.

Great place to stay on business

Beautifully appointed room (11), old world elegant and charming. Very comfortable bed and luxury feel linen. Bath was very large, tons of hot water. Breakfast was a lovely range of options, i had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, OH had Full Scottish, both delicious. We will be back everytime we come to Edinburgh.

Staff was great and the rooms were fantastic.

It’s a pleasant place the only thing, there is no AC in the facility. This is a great place to stay in the winter but not in the summer.
