Lovely location and great staff. Breakfast was really good. Dog friendly

We stayed during a hot summer weekend with our dog. There was one freestanding fan which wasn't very powerful. Really the room needs aircon. The lighting in the room is poor so you need the curtains open to see which obviously then lets in more heat. So the option is a very very hot room or a dark one!

Lake area was stunning, loved the open entrance with bar area, staff were exceptional, breakfast was one of best ever had

Lovely location on the lake. Ideal for evening and morning walks around the lakes before or after a day visiting the beautiful Cotswold villages.

Comfortable stay in stunning location

All good but very busy, understaffed and over priced.

No air conditioning in rooms!!! Room was like a sauna and despite accepting the offer of a fan in the room, it never arrived even after requesting a further two times and no communication of why I didn’t get one. Poor show. Due to the room being soooooo hot, the windows and balcony door had to be left open and the main A419 is close enough to hear every bump with the cars travelling on it. Not as serene as it looks!

Lovely place to stay. We actually added another 2 nights it was so relaxing. Elenor on reception was very helpful. Only criticism was the food in restaurant wasn’t up to much, staff didn’t know whose table ordered what. We were told not to start eating in case it was someone else’s! Total lack of staff, that’s my only complaint. Could never get through on the phone, just rang off the hook.

Lovely hotel would definitely return in the future

We had a adjoining set of rooms to a kitchenette which was perfect for our girlie get together. We had such a lovely spa break away together. The most relaxed I've been in years. We will happily be back again.

Hotel looking tired in all areas, room, corridors, pool etc. Double room was a small double bed, no fridge in the room. Hotel had a big event on full or drunk adults which for a family friendly hotel was not nice Pool very small

I have a 2 bedroom apartment, and they have to improve the cleaning.

Lovely hotel fantastic room and we loved the spa !! Good and drink whilst a little pricey was enjoyable and the breakfast was incredible - we will stay again
