Great hotel, super friendly and helpful front desk staff, great pub. Can't go wrong!

The loft condo was really spacious, with a nice view of the harbor. The location could not be better. We slept well, in comfortable beds.

Great helpful staff, very big rooms if you like space. A little dark and dated. But fine for the few nights we stayed.

Prime location for harbor victoria. Staff is excellent. There's a paid parking about 2 blocks from property that's maintained by the city. The building is older and furnishing and interior are basic. You'll have everything you need to be very comfortable and cozy. There's no air conditioning and we styed in the two bedroom suite with the bedrooms upstairs. There's one bathroom downstairs. The window in the living room is lovely for people watching on the busy street.

Who you hire for front desk makes a difference as first impressions. Some of the staff are extremely friendly and personable like the more mature lady with the glasses and some could use some additional training as look miserable at their job like the younger lady on duty. Wasted water when you shower as a lot is just going down the tap making it drain slower. When the shower head is being used water should not also be going down the lower tap.

This hotel is fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Beautiful, clean and spacious rooms. Perfect location for exploring the city. We are already planning our next trip back!

Location Great, but our room was not very well cleaned, there were clothes and used tissues from previous guests under the beds and the carpet looked old and dirty. New carpet or flooring would make the room nicer and clean. Bathrooms also looked dirty and the baseboards could use some cleaning.

We stayed over the Victoria day long weekend, I had my mother with me who is in a wheelchair 90% of the time and when we got to the hotel the elevator was not working. I was very disappointed that they did not let me know prior to the arrival, they did not offer to refund my payment or give me a discount due to this major inconvenience. My Mother had to painfully climb up and down the stairs for 2 days. I emailed the manager and got no response.

Loved our stay - the pub food and atmosphere were fantastic! Great location, and our room was absolutely massive - it had 2 levels, 2 bedrooms, one bath and a kitchen!

Lovely room above the pub with a Juliet balcony. Just what we needed. The pub is open till midnight so not for early sleepers but great location walking distance from everything you could need or want in downtown Victoria. Love the vintage vibe of the room and a full kitchen if you need. Comfortable bed and lovely staff. We will stay here again.

Fantastic room, spacious, high ceiling, kitchenette. Bathroom could use an upgrade, old tub and skinny towels. Loved it, would return for sure. Little dicey to learn where to park and figure that out but it’s manageable.

The rooms are quite nice and very spacious but the young lady on the front desk was surly and disinterested. The fittings are old and cheap the iron board was rickety and worn, the iron was a cheap Sunbeam with a black sole plate and a past stay had burnt something black i couldn't see that stained my white shirt. The elevators have been not working since May and the stairs and staircase are steep and narrow. I would never stay here again for the $
