We love VIM! Great food and plenty of resturants, bars, entertainment! Lots of planned activities, quiet pool and party pool! Great place to be! Sonia and Angel at the beach abr were wonderful. Joanna, Isreal, Carlos and Daniel on the Go Team are fantastic! We had a great dinner with Hugo at the french resturant! Thank you everyone!

It was pretty average a little expensive for what you get.

Food was great. Don Julio bar was AMAZING. The ocean was not swimable which was a huge disappointment. Beach is rocky and full of seaweed. Pool is great but there is not enough shaded areas. Many seats were reserved with various belongings but no one was using. This needs to be monitored better. We had a great time but would not return to this resort due to the beach not being what we desired.

Valentin Imperial was amazing! The staff provided great service. A majority of them seemed to enjoy their jobs, which adds to the experience. There were many food choices and they were all fantastic! I couldn’t tell you my favorite, because each restaurant was unique. The grounds were clean and filled with so many beautiful trees, plants and flowers. The beach is beautiful and it was incredibly relaxing and quiet. Time was also spent at the pool, where it’s a little more of a party scene, but that’s fine too. It was nice having a mix of playful music and activities or being at the beach away from that. I often like to book a new resort for each trip, but this place was so great that I think it would be hard to beat. Thank you, Valentín!

Nice place

This was mine and my husband’s first time here and it was a great trip. The service from every single staff member was spectacular. It felt very safe. We drank top shelf liquor free of charge. The beach was beautiful and we never had an issue getting a cabana. The pools were nice but not really our vibe, as those were where the party animals were. I’m only 40, but preferred the quiet beach area over the party pool. There were also drink servers on the beach as well as close by bars. The food was mostly really good, but a lot of small portions. We got a basic room and it was plenty spacious. The resort itself was really beautiful. There were all kinds of animals casually roaming around. It is a big place but we had no issues with the amount of walking. Plus, it was big enough where it never felt crowded. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

From the moment we arrived, the experience at this resort exceeded all expectations. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like valued guests every step of the way. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained grounds. They have activities all day long for guest.

We absolutely enjoyed out vacation here. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and accomodating, the property and food were fabulous, and the experience was wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Clean. Quiet. Good food options. Staff are great

The resort had a wonderful charm and definitely feels “older” (I.e not the MODERN vibe) than some of the other resorts I’ve stayed at but we were looking for a resort that felt like we were in the Caribbean which drew us to Valentín. The property is well maintained and definitely gave us Spanish home in the jungle vibes which we loved. The staff were amazing/helpful and the lobby smells incredible. The reason for my rating is because for us personally, the food and drinks were just ok (for the price we paid we would’ve hoped for better), and the resort seemed to draw an older crowd. Nothing wrong with that of course but we felt somewhat out of place being in our mid 30s. The resort is also not nearby anywhere to walk offsite so essentially for activities you either have to enjoy what they offer at the resort or venture out via a 30 min taxi ride.

The best staff- from checking to housekeeping to entertainment. They are all so pleasant and welcoming.

From checking in to checking out, everything at Valentin Imperial mayas was great. The grounds are kept impeccably clean, the staff is friendly and professional and the all of the restaurants we visited were great. Our concierge, Mauricio, was very helpful thoughout our stay. Guadalupe did a wonderful job in our room. Franscisco, Milcia, Omar and Alan were some of the servers who made our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.
