Pros: The staff were friendly and extremely helpful with our questions. The breakfast made each day an easy start. Our room was nice and the AC seemed to work well. Cons: Our first night was a weekend our room facing the piazza was quite loud. I believe because of the discotheque across the street. The week nights weren’t a problem. There isn’t much the hotel can do about this, but I’d want to be aware of we would book again.

The hotel was wonderful except for the fact that on the second day of our stay the cleaners found that the table glass under the electric tea kettle stand was broken. Immediately we were blamed and charged close to 200 USD. I tried to explain that its not possible that we broke the glass as we did not use the kettle and did not use that corner of the table at all. We were met with a lot of rudeness and the staff did not listen to us at all. Most likely they don't clean under the stand every day and the guests before us broke the glass. On the first day our items on the table were not moved. This was extremely frustrating and in the end we were forced to pay.

This place is great! Awesome staff and location. Everything is walkable. They have amazing breakfast. It consists of fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit or juice, coffee, yogurt, fresh bread and more. The rooms are clean and cute.

Perfect location and incredibly convenient, with genuinely lovely and welcoming staff. I stayed in the top-floor panoramic room, which was fantastic. My only suggestion for management would be to pay closer attention to room cleanliness. Upon check-in, there were several long hairs visible on the floor, and I also found litter left behind by previous guests in the bedside drawers. Improving housekeeping in these areas would make the overall experience even better.

This is an old hotel that goes back to 1870 and needs to be updated specially the bathroom and specially the shower. The room is small but that’s typical of all European countries. You actually paying that high price for the rooms for the location which is in the heart of Sorrento. Walking distance to everything Sorrento offers. The breakfast is decent , same thing everyday. Staff are very nice and pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa di Sorrento. This clean, modernly upgraded hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Sorrento, right next to Piazza Tasso. From there, it’s just a short walk to the charming pedestrian-only Via San Cesareo, as well as the port and train station — making it an excellent base for exploring the area. While our room was on the smaller side, it was exceptionally well-organized and thoughtfully designed. The ample shelves, hooks, and smart storage solutions made unpacking and daily use very easy and comfortable for our family of three. The bathroom was also nicely organized and functional. The staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, we strongly recommend Villa di Sorrento for its great location, cleanliness, and practical room design.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was tasty and had an excellent selection. The staff was friendly and helpful. All of this and the hotel is right in the center of town, near the port and train station. I would definitely stay there again in the future.
