An excellent stay. Quiet, peaceful, delicious food. Wonderfully helpful and welcoming staff.

What a lovely place - it is somewhat out in the country away from the main town, but what beautiful views and so quiet. It is a country house and not a five star hotel but loved our stay there as it was very true to the area. The food is amazing and there is even a bar if that works for you - We would definitely go back!

Owner met us and checked us in. Servers in bar and restaurant were friendly, attentive and courteous. Food was delicious. Met and spoke with other friendly, engaging guest. This is a superior stay in Shannon Ireland area, off the beaten path, in a peaceful rural setting, yet easy to find and access. We would visit again and stay longer!

Very pleasant and helpful staff

Like coming home if you lived in a beautiful country house and your mom was making sure you had delicious food and the nicest room in the house. Staff went above and beyond to make us happy. We arrived after 9pm and when they heard we hadn't eaten, served us a late supper of homemade fish chowder and toasted bread. Breakfast was just as delicious and clearly all home made. They helped my husband to get a charger that worked for our devices. Views are stunning, location near airport and regularly served by taxis, made it all perfect for the end of our vacation.

Our stay at this property exceeded our expectations. The beautiful setting and old grand building were a beautiful site as we arrived. Staff are very helpful in booking reservations ahead of our arrival. Bathroom was fantastic in the family suite with big soaking tub and jets. The dinner at the restaurant was very memorable treat and all staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Both continental breakfast and the cooked breakfast were delicious. The mini horses at the back were an absolute sweet treat. Proximity to the airport on the departure date made for a very smooth travel day. You could see the occasional plane coming in, but you couldn't hear any noise disturbance.

We spent our last night in Ireland at the CarryGerry Country House. It is located within 15 minutes of the Shannon Airport and is in a picturesque setting (cows grazing in a field, narrow country roads). The venue itself was a disappointment, while picturesque, the actual building and accommodation seemed worn and outdated. The breakfast was fine, but we had better at smaller B&Bs. Except for the proximity to the airport, we did not find this to be a good value.

We stayed two nights, top floor. As it was a hot two nights, a fan was necessary to keep the room temperature down. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Shower was a bit tricky to use (Tower Room). Staff was very helpful bringing our luggage up stairs and down when we departed. It's is a beautiful classic facility, but is showing age.

It was absolutely amazing

The country house was beyond our expectations! The family owned bed & breakfast was perfect for our family of 5. It is tucked away in the country side and our kids loved seeing the cows and mini horses. Jillian was so welcoming and accommodating, and dinner was amazing! Best food we have had in a very long time.

Very relaxed and felt welcomed the moment we arrived to when we left. Would definitely go again. Extra note for the exceptional dinner we had there the evening we were staying - superb food.

The room was very clean! Oshin was cordial and polite and the night duty came up to help with the tv even though it was after hours! We arrived after dinner hour so weren’t able to eat! I did have a nice Irish Coffee and retired to my room to have a bath, which was quite relaxing! Breakfast was excellent and staff were kind and more than attentive! Thank you for a much needed stay!

We loved the character of Carrygarry house. It was quaint and quiet. The hosts were really helpful. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. This is close to Shannon airport so a good place if you need to make airport runs. Highly recommend.

Lovely friendly place! Lovely lounge bar area to chat with other guests. Amazing food! Beautiful surroundings and a wonderful historic building.
