Great weekend as a family at the holiday inn. Very friendly staff who will try to serve you going over board. We are very grateful indeed. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff from Reception to the restaurant and bar.

Perfect for accessing Stonehenge. Lots of fast food places within walking distance. Beautiful River Avon also very nearby. Amesbury town centre also close which has lots of restaurants. It is worth noting that Stonehenge is actually walkable from the area rather tuan paying the exorbitant fees. Worth researching.

Great hotel for everyone. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay at the weekend. My little ones enjoys seating around in the lounge area. Lovely breakfast too. Thank you so much. Plenty parking space for free. Very convenient location with restaurants, service station and home bargain walking distance from the hotel. Even managed to order Chinese takeaway delivered to the hotel.

Bathroom was nice and big and the bed was comfortable

Close drive to Stonehenge. Casual dining nearby. Decent restaurant in the hotel.

We stay here due to location and convenience. It’s a very weathered and tired hotel in dire need of updating. No tech, refrigerator, etc. removable shower head that doesn’t lock in place so you soak the bathroom. Time to spend some money Holiday Inn.

My wife and i stayed for 2 nights for our sons wedding. All i can say is that the staff were out of this world. We travelled a long way with a wedding cake in the car, and we had a disaster... it toppled. When we arrived late on the evening, the night shift could not have been more helpful. They gave us some bits to attempt to rebuild.... but we are no bakers. They put our cake in the fridge for us to attempt after some much needed sleep. In the morning, Antonio, the day shift manager, was as amazing as the night shift. He asked the chef for help or advice, and Sarah (the chef), went above and beyond by not only helping, but actually fixing the entire cake. Thanks to the amazing staff, a major disaster was averted. Thank you all for being so amaing.

The location is good for tour around

Lovely stay, great room. Very friendly staff, reception team looked after me and went above and beyond.

Bedroom was all ok but the bathroom had lots of mould and the very dirty. Needed a good clean. I mentioned it to the checkout staff and they did say they would pass the comments on. They didn’t seem surprised!

Staff friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Breakfast was hot buffet which was acceptable.

It’s near to our destination

We only had a quick one night stay so we could be up very early for our Stonehenge visit. The hotel is less than 15 minutes away so extremely convenient.

Great place and stayed here a few times . The down side was the mould in the bathroom
