I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Bahia Principe Grand La Romana in the Dominican Republic, booked through your platform as an all-inclusive five-star resort.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was not as advertised and fell far below the standards of a five-star property. The staff was consistently rude and unaccommodating, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort grounds were poorly maintained—there were unpatched holes on the walkways, and one of the children in our group was injured as a result.
The condition of the rooms was equally unacceptable. They were outdated and in disrepair, with peeling doors, holes in the tub walls, and bathrooms that leaked. The air conditioning unit was inconsistent and barely functional. Our room keys repeatedly failed to work, forcing us to return to the front desk several times a day to have them reactivated. When we requested an additional key for convenience, the request was flatly refused.
The amenities at the resort did not meet expectations either. The pool area offered extremely limited entertainment, and when it rained, there were no indoor options provided—nothing at all was arranged to occupy guests.
