Bkft was adequately and staff in dining area pub were very friendly and service excellent!! Food menu was very good .

The staff was great. The hotel is old but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was the absolute worse I’ve ever seen at any other hotel.

It was an interesting stay, as we check in late at night there was chaos! A group of girls with their teachers and chaperones were leaving claiming that rooms they got were infested with bed bugs

The breakfast was worthless and of extreme poor quality. No yogurt, muffins or fruit. The eggs and sausage were greasy and like rubber. The television was none existent and the internet sketchy at best. No one capable to help. The pool was filthy and probably a health risk.

Always enjoy staying at this hotel , when taking a flight . Friendly staff , clean establishment. , and great service. Will be returning again . Shuttle service was very helpful with luggage, and very friendly.great staffs.

Great little hotel for a park and fly. Has a restaurant/bar and huge parking lot. They offer free parking for up to 10 days with a nights stay. Definitely worth it. Will definitely use again if flying out of Halifax. The free Shuttle is also dependable and convenient

I travelled with a large group and shortly after arrival we found bed bugs on several of the mattresses. When confronted staff denied what was being seen and stated they could not offer a refund because they did not have the authority to do so and it would have to be decided in the morning if that would be possible. This was not acceptable as we had to move 40+ young teenage girls to another hotel at which point it was late in the evening into the night with a flight less than 8 hours later and to incur the cost of another 18 rooms! The hotel has since sent me an email stating they had pest control in to access the rooms today and found no evidence of bed bugs past or present. I do not believe this to be true as we seen it with our own eyes and have pictures as proof. The bed in my room had dead bed bugs which I also have pictures of. They are claiming it was textile fibres which it was most certainly NOT. The conditions of the hotel are disgusting as we also experienced stained and blood covered bedding, toenail clippings and a very strong odour in one of the girls bathrooms. Some of the girls had bites on their legs and some of the bites looked similar to flea bites. This is NOT a place to stay! Stay away from anything to do with this hotel. We are thankful that we were able to find other accommodations as this situation could have been so much worse for us. We did not leave this hotel with 40+ teenage girls over nothing! Our concern/issue was valid!

Great place, comfy bed, had a good sleep.

A little run down with some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint needed. Little details like business cards badly cut out from photocopied paper was indicative of the rest of the hotel and its need for a little care

Long wait for the shuttle but the driver was very helpful when he arrived

It’s super convenient to stay at HFX. They have a huge parking lot where travellers can leave theirs car for up to 10 days with complementary parking. They also have shuttles to and from the airport. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Just keep in mind the hotel building is outdated and breakfast is simple.

There was dried bodily fluids on the bed skirt, empty conditioner in the shower and the worst waiter service I’ve ever had

The property could use some more updates but the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the beds were extremely comfy.

It was easy to find the pick up for the airport shuttle.

Clean, comfortable room. The parking is included with your stay whitch is super handy. Free shuttle to and from the airport.

Excellent atmosphere, good food in restaurant attached, all around a great spot to stay if you're looking to catch a good night's rest before a flight!

Comfortable clean bed and pillows but that was about all that was clean. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned between stays with hair from previous customers in the bathtub. Really over priced to the room.

A decent place to stay near the airport. The free breakfast was very good. Mattress was soft not firm.
