We love this hotel! Second time visitors, can't wait to go back. Friendly staff, romantic vibes, beautiful breakfast, amazing town, what's not to love.

Beautiful historic buildings with modern amenities, spa, small pool, and very good breakfast. Staff were professional, polite, and accommodating .

The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. There is parking available a short walk from the hotel lobby. They do have lifts. Staff wasn't overly friendly. Customer service was just ok. We did not prebook spa services and were not able to get in for services while we were there. We were not able to decline maid service. They use a strong chemical air freshener in the hallways if you're respiratory sensitive.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a boutique hotel, and we were traveling with our 10 year old daughter. The hotel catered for all our needs, from great food to the spa and swimming pool, and proximity to the beach (10 min walk). Really enjoyed that it was authentic, catering for Spanish as well as international guests. The history hill top town is quiet, with a good few bars and restaurants. In Altafulla, most places do close between 1-5pm… it’s great, exactly the way it should be.

I had my third and fourth stays in Gran Claustre recently. It is an outstanding small and luxurious hotel, with excellent staff and food, in a beautiful setting. Great rooms, spotlessly clean and very good beds and linen. I recommend it.

A wonderful place but with a shockinglly poor breakfast, which does not match the quality elsewhere. Substandard food quality and bad service -do not book breakfast at this hotel.

The property is beautiful, as is the area around it. Very walkable with access to shops, restaurants, beach, sites. Occasionally, trash was seen around the property. Overall, we had an excellent experience. The staff was kind, the breakfast was generous and fresh. Our room was nicely cleaned each day for two weeks.

Hotel was hard to find by car since sat nav did not work nearby, not hotels fault.

Check-in was as expected quick and friendly. The room was comfortable. Tricky getting in to shower as it had fixed door, when switching on the shower you get covered in cold water before it reaches temp. did not eat at the restaurant as it opened at 8:30 pm and i tend to eat around 6:30 pm.

Hotel is little bit far from the main Street.So, sometime it is difficult to reach the hotel without the Taxi or personal vehicle. Good Part is that Hotel is made in traditional style & it's Good for Stay. In front of Hotel, there is a park where you can walk anytime.

Stayed here recently for a wedding. Fantastic hotel! Rooms are so spacious and nicely decorated! Beds were very comfortable. Great choice for breakfast the next morning.

Terrace/courtyard bar was great. Old town setting lovely. Staff really nice.

We booked this hotel for the spa and terrace restaurant for our one year anniversary. I emailed the hotel after booking to reserve spa time and got no response. When we arrived we were told the spa was closed for renovations and the terrace restaurant is only open from mid June- these things were not flagged on the website.

Beautiful building - the local area was also charming - though we were out of season in May and not all the restaurants were open. The hotel has some dark rooms so if light is important to you then request a room with more light. The hotel accommodated all our requests and the staff were very pleasant. The only negative comment would be that the hotel now needs some refurbishment of the rooms - to keep the hotel at the top of its game - the rooms are feeling a little tired.

Good hotel, comfortable stay and quiet night sleep. Friendly staff and good facilities. Didn't use the spa or on-site restaurant but pool area good.

The Hotel was lovely ,perhaps the bathroom need a little attention ,little the mastic round the bath but om the whole a good hotel. Breakfast included and was very good
