My first visit and will absolutely return. The property is wonderful and, for its age, in very good condition. The current owners have obviously put considerable effort into restoring the property with a very good restaurant that offers room service, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and fully functional rooms with comfortable beds and linens, a lobby bar and exercise/gym and game room. The beachfront locale is expansive, tranquil and easily accessible. The property is expansive, quiet, relaxing and minutes off the main highway. If you’re looking for quiet serene relaxation on a large wide beach and are ok with dated but fully functional furnishings, this is the place. It is not contemporary or chic, but it offers the Baja life and culture full scale and is both safe and comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of free parking. Family oriented. Enjoyable. PET FRIENDLY 👏👏👏

Outdated old El Presidente hotel same thing than 40 years ago, but incredible ocean views. Could hear the ocean waves all night . Restaurant food was good . Hard to access if you don’t know location ! And was way cheaper than Hotel La Mision in Catavina; same owners

The main beach access hotel in san quintin. We enjoyed being here and its distance to humedales and molino viejo was close by. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely resort style hotel right on the beautiful clean beach. Well maintained and with very friendly staff. Peaceful and serene. Tennis courts, Gym, Pool table etc. Restaurant was very good and priced quite reasonably. We asked for special modifications and they took care of it. Stayed here for two days when driving down to Baja Sur and loved it. Some small hikes up minor volcano peaks with breathtaking 360 degree views of the bay/peninsula nearby (about 30-45 mins drive) for those so inclined. Highly recommended.

Ok. The ac unit was extremely loud and the ice would fall out of it when it was turned off. You get what you pay for

Very nice place right on the water, beautiful massive beach. Helpful and friendly staff, most speak some English. Love that it is dog friendly, up to 2 dogs and no pet fee. Was off season when we went in December so it was super quiet and empty. Decent breakfast at the restaurant. We went into town for most lunches and dinners.

Bar and restaurant was awesome. Needed it to unwind. Only issue we had is first room we couldn’t get into with the key. Maintenance tried and they had to switch our room.

Great stay at Hotel Santa Maria with an extremely smooth check in and explanation of the property. The front desk service was amazing. The rooms are clean and you can access the beach directly from the hotel! The food is solid too!

The hotel looked nice in pictures, but I'll never know because I was unable to reach it. The road was completely flooded, and as I was on a motorcycle, was not able to get to the property.
