Close to center of town with shopping and restaurants. Nice lobby. Bathroom was very small. Good water pressure. Room had a musty smell and I wasn’t able to move. View of water in pic was very misleading. Terrible view from balcony. Male checking in was helpful. Female at checkout abrupt. Felt they should have compensated me for room as I had asked for no scents. Not the first to complain of mustiness. Bad for allergies. Otherwise room was in good condition

This hotel was in a very convenient location. It was clean and the room was your “typical hotel room.” The breakfast buffet was very good. The pictures of the views presented online are not a fair representation of what the views from the rooms really are. Ours was overlooking a construction site and semi demolished building. I left some clothing hanging in the closet and within 24 hours the hotel had made arrangements for a courier to send them to my hotel in Chania for which I was very thankful. A good stay overall.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a quick stop in Heraklion. it is walkable to a lot of dining and shopping options. It is also very close to the port. We got to our fast ferry boat to Santorini super fast! The staff and service is okay. I was not fond of the front desk. They looked like they were always in a bad mood. Only one (night shift) was really nice. He made sure we had breakfast to-go for our early departure.

The room was tiny and there were small ants crawling around on the floor.

Property was convenient for a one night stay l, but the rooms are in need of renovation and the bar was unmanned all afternoon and evening so we had to venture out for a cocktail. Bathroom was small and tiles were chipped everywhere. Shower was in need of repair. Would not return.

It was very nice. Close to center and walking distance to shops, restaurants and Heraklion archeological museum.

A great stay! A perfect location - easy access to the old town with all the shops and restaurants. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed having wine on the little terrace. We caught an early ferry so couldn’t stay for the breakfast, but were given a nice “boxed breakfast” to go. Would definitely choose Atrion Hotel for our next visit.

This was a 2 night stay and the hotel was suitable for our needs. Room was tidy and big enough for a short stay. Hotel within walking distance to most city areas including the port. The breakfast was a little disappointing with most cooked items only just warm. Overall, a fine enough stay.

This is an older hotel that has been updated. Rooms are small, but well appointed and clean. To get a water view you need to be on a higher floor and pay more for an upgraded room. Given that there are no screens on the patio doors (and I assume windows in other rooms), we had to run the AC which smelled musty. The staff at check in were very pleasant - and the breakfast box they offered us (as we had to check out for an early flight before the restaurant was open for breakfast) was a lovely touch. The front desk staff also organized a taxi to the airport for us. I think this is a good hotel option for shorter stays. There is a great deal of building/renovation going on around the hotel at present - so there is a lot of dust. Certainly not the fault of the hotel.
