It’s the second time I’ve stayed there in the last 6 months, solely due to its location based around my work. Unfortunately this will be the last occasion. In my opinion it needs a refurb. The rooms are looking tatty now. To add to this, the staff are not the most welcoming, especially in the restaurant. Just felt a bit stale to me.

My husband and i stayed overnight on our way to Scotland. For ease of access off the M6, the location is great. Everything was just 'ok' at the hotel however, the bedding (inside duvet and pillows) were very smelly. The outer cases had been washed but the inside bedding smell came through. If i wasnt so tired at midnight i would have complained. Thankfully we were only staying that one night. The staff were very nice and did their best considering they were short staffed that morning.

This hotel is very family friendly, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The curtains and sofa smelled dusty but everything else was clean

Booked with expedia, wrong date given. No refund available even after contacting both the hotel and expedia within an hour of booking. Contacted hotel who said it depends on what expedia decide, and expedia stated the hotel were unwilling to refund? Either way i would advise to avoid both at all costs!

Could do better by ensuring that the customer receives tea and meal at the same time so that a second cup is not necessary.

Convenient and loads of EV chargers at the door . Good selection of food in the restaurant but the service was a little slow

Guy on reception was friendly. I slept on the bed settee which was stupidly uncomfortable! Things sticking in my back, lumps and bumps consequentially giving me a dreadful nights sleep. It was under the window which was very very drafty. I had to put a quilt behind the curtain to stop the coldness. I could see the window had been badly taped up to stop the draft Gym was fantastic

Although my stay was briefly disrupted by the arrival of a large and noisy family carrying their belongings in black bin bags using a shopping trolley , who appeared to have been placed in the hotel by the council, everything else about the hotel was good.

Really friendly and pleasant local staff. Very good location as a convenient stop over, just off the M6 in north west for those travelling and need a break without the hassle of driving into a city centre. Bar open and restaurant serving food until 2130 which was handy after long drive north.

We traveled here as a family for a week stay. The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent.

The room was fine and clean, the breakfast was good. The evening meal has many problems though, and although they took our details and said that some of it would be refunded, we never heard from them again.

The restaurant was unprepared for the number of people staying at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well presented. The pool is tiny and shallow and used by healthclub members as well barely leaving room for the children to play.
