The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing suggestions for things to see as well as food options.

The location was excellent, the breakfast very good. The room was small and the view was non-existent.

Thon Hotel Panorama is an underrated jewel! Its staff are very helpful and genuine. The bed and furnishings were the softest dreamiest I have ever laid on. Do not be deceived by the outward facade. Book it and experience its fullness and beauty!

The Thon Panorama is a modern hotel in a charming historic neighborhood, with several nice restaurants nearby. It is walking distance to Karl Johans Gate, the main commercial street, major museums and landmarks, but also convenient to bus and tram stops when you’re tired of walking. We loved our sixth-floor suite, an upgrade.

Excellent stay in the heart of Oslo. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast buffet. One of the best breakfast buffet so don’t skip it! The coffee machine near front desk was not working when we arrived and check in desk person was extremely helpful and concerned, he actually fixed it and made me a nice cup of coffee. The location is perfect—quiet yet within easy walking distance of the Opera House, Central Station, and main attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Great value for Oslo.

Loved how close it is to everything!

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of offerings, from eggs to really good yoghurts and mueslis to delicious Norwegian cheeses. The room was perfect. There was plenty of room for the three of us and it was spotless. I think the hotel is very new and has only been open for a few months. The hotel’s location is excellent too. It is 10 minutes from the central station and almost everywhere else in the heart of the city. The only time we took the tram was to go to the Vigeland sculpture park. Best of all, the staff are all so friendly, from the woman who works breakfast to all of the women who work at Reception. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great room for four people, with a beautiful bathroom, little kitchen with kettle and fridge. Breakfast was outstanding even with dietary restrictions (no gluten). It was just such a great stay, we would come back any time

My buddy and I stayed on a Thursday night, the returned for three additional nights two days later. The staff were incredibly helpful with storing our luggage and making sure that we got a good room when we returned. Frida and Nia in particular were very helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and our room was one that had a magnificent view of the fjord and the Opera House. It was within easy walking distance of all the sites downtown and the train station. I have no negatives at all!!!
