We really enjoyed our stay, food choice was good for evening meals and not too over priced. Self serve breakfast had a very good variety of food, from full English to cereals and fruit etc. Room and beds were very comfortable. Receptionist on Friday and Saturday evening, was very helpful. We are not tekkie, so she went above and beyond to help us book a local taxi firm for a wedding venue 10 minutes away. Price was what we expected to pay, and they were on time and pleasant. All staff at hotel were very helpful and pleasant. Thank you

Stayed on a Sunday evening so the hotel was quiet, and the location is probably always quiet. Unfortunately on Sundays there isn't an opportunity for food other than sitting in the main restaurant. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bathroom needs upgrading but was OK.

The room was very spacious clean does need a bit of T L C and more personality imto the room, didn't seem to be many staff about but overall was a very relaxing weekend bar prices a little high close to the local shops withn walking distance the bulimg its self is lovey even better once they have done a bit of renovating in the rooms but yes its was ok

A very querky layout with a variety of rooms to chill out in.

Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. On arrival was met by friendly staff. Rooms large clean and an excellent standard. The food was of a high standard. I can’t knock it. Will definitely be returning

friendly and clean but hotel room looking past its best

The check in experience was great, really friendly reception staff explained everything. Room was good size, nice and clean. Only complaint would be was top warm and window quite old and stiff to open. We had a drink in the bar and the service was atrocious!!! If we hadn't been staying there we would have walked out. There was a party in front that got served and then The bar person just walked out of the bar. Nothing said to us, no explanation, nothing at all. When she came back eventually more than 5 minutes later with no apology for leaving us standing there waiting. I ordered 2 drinks which she couldn't remember and then got wrong. Any other place I would have walked out.

Weve stayed here many tines in the past and always loved it. Sadly now it has changed hands we are disappointed with the service in rhe restaurant for dinner and breakfast....the pool is no longer in use...and the layout is now confusing.

Generally a good stay, the room was a good size and we had interconnecting rooms with the teenage kids. It’s a little tired in places, the shower heads all need de-scaling and whilst it was perfectly clean, it needs a little spruce up. Biggest issue for me, and hence the lower than average score in comfort was that the rooms were incredibly warm over night, and couldn’t open the windows. I could have called down and asked for a fan but we were off again at 10:30. I know that other hotels that don’t have air conditioning nor opening windows email you beforehand and preemptively provide fans (we stay in hotels 2-3 times a week in the UK and internationally quite frequently) We would stay here again, the car park is massive and the buildings are conference-like and so very functional, the bar and food was all good too.

Bed was lovely - large and comfortable Room was clean Check in/out was fine and speedy Food in restaurant was ok, but limited if you are vegan Service was very slow Hotel was clean but decor is dated and could do with redecorating. Carpets look tired and worn
