The hotel (our room -104-)seemed dated and the bathroom floor was dirty. The sheets and blanket seemed old and not soft. If you are placed in room 102, 103 or 104 ask to be moved because you will hear the parking gate below you creaking open and shut all day/night long

I found this resort to be very clean and convenient I can see myself staying here again when visiting Carlsbad.

Clean, friendly and respect quiet time after hours. Great view of the ocean and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Great for families or couples. Had a wonderful time, thank you.

This was pur girst time splurging on ocean front and it did not disappoint. Harbor grill in front excellent fish and chowder.

Great place to stay

This is a super convenient location. A short walk to everything! It is an older property so that’s evident from some of the furniture and the rooms have a musty damp smell. We’ve been there before and it didn’t bother us much. We opened the patio door for fresh air.

Great location. Across the street from Carlsbad State Beach. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The ocean view is worth it with a big patio. The room was big with a nice bathroom and king bed. Nice hot water in the shower. Will stay again

Great resort! Large clean comfy rooms. Right across from the beach! Great views from balcony too! Restaurant on site and walking distance to downtown. Free parking and continental breakfast! Heated pool and two hot tubs. Friendly staff. Highly recommend- can’t be beat for the price and the fantastic overall atmosphere of this resort!

Staff was wonderful and hotel was clean

Definitely stay here again my room was great friendly staff complementary breakfast the hotel is across the street from the beach there’s shopping restaurants a fun bar next door if your into that loved it

We encountered several staff members during our stay and everyone we met or passed by had a friendly smile and a greeting. The landscaping, housekeeping staff, front desk and breakfast cook all made a point to say hello and offer assistance. It was really refreshing. The grounds were well kept, the jacuzzi was especially relaxing, we liked our room too. Great job.

We loved the location and the hotel was clean and quite nice. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. Awkward set up and the food was average at best. If you improved the coffee and served actual cream with it, that would be a big upgrade!

Excellent views of the sunset since being right by the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. A very clean hotel and pool and hot tubs. Would recommend to staying there.
