The property and staff fantastic. Breakfast perfect. Great location. Doggy rooms great with outside space and table and chairs. Would recommend. The only thing I say was I thought the price of £25 per night was a bit steep. Always paid extra for dogs at hotels but never this much. Even the big hotels in the area only charge £20 per night. ?

Lovely staff, good breakfast and lovely area to be in. Understand with the weather at the moment, but the room ran very hot. A fan was provided but it wasn’t enough.

This bed and breakfast is in a great location to walk into town or to the train station (even with luggage.) The staff are kind, and breakfast was lovely in the small dining area. The forest / wood theme throughout is cozy. If you're tall, mind your head - its an old building with short doorways and ceilings. If you're heat sensitive, be aware that there is no air con. An oscillating fan was provided in my 2nd floor room, the windows opened generously, and it was still quite warm.

The wife and I stayed here for 2 nights for a short break in the New Forest. The hotel was great, our room was light and airy. Although a little warm because of the heat wave we were able to open windows on both sides that brought in a draft in the evening which quickly cooled the room down, that and use of the excellent shower meant that we coped easily. Each room also has a small allocated outdoor space which was particularly welcome during the hot weather and we enjoyed some fish and chips on our little patio. The staff are super friendly and the breakfast was of a decent quality. It's also really handy for walking to Brockenhurst station - all adding up to a great short break. Would definitely recommend

Nice welcome and easy parking with named spot which was a nice touch and easy walk to the village and several pubs. Great breakfast, nice room and comfy bed. Side gate lock challenging to open and also hard to open the bathroom door to get in - was worried I might get locked in but actually easy to open from the inside. Maybe worth getting someone to look at both locks.

The manager who welcomed me was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The room (an upgrade) was absolutely lovely - spacious, elegant, well-appointed, nice bathroom.
