The hotel was excellent, staff were really friendly the room was very nice well decorated with a new bathroom( we stayed in a superior room)the view across the bay was amazing. We ate in the restaurant and thought food was great. Only thing stopping it being a 5 star review was the car park which is not big enough for the hotel so people end up double parked everywhere. There was no air conditioning in the room which usually wouldn’t be an issue but we were lucky enough to have fantastic weather so the room was baking hot and there was no fridge in the room which I would expect in any hotel these days. Overall though these are minor issues and we would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Nice room but too hot and no way to cool the room. Asked by email if there was a bus service to Cartmel races never received a reply but found there was later. Outside the room the Union Jack was flying upside down and on a lower flagpole than the St George Cross. Good staff but facilities dated and worn. The hotel needs investment.

We recently stayed at the Grange Hotel in Grange-over-Sands for a weekend break. There are certainly some positives, but unfortunately a few issues meant the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. On arrival, parking was the first challenge. The hotel's car park is very small considering the size of the hotel and was already full when we arrived. Reception advised us to park on the road further down the hill, which wasn't ideal when carrying multiple bags. Prior to our stay, I had specifically called to ask about EV charging facilities and was pleased to hear they had two charging points. However, during our visit it was impossible to get near them due to the parking situation, and there didn't appear to be any designated EV charging bays. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and one of the better aspects of the stay. The food throughout our visit was also enjoyable and of a good standard. Unfortunately, the leisure facilities were disappointing. The hot tub was only lukewarm, the sauna wasn't working on our first evening, and both the pool and hot tub seemed heavily chlorinated, to the point that they stung our eyes. Overall, the leisure area felt tired and dated and could benefit from some investment and refurbishment. Our second night's sleep was also disrupted by loud music which continued until around 1:30am. When I raised this with reception the following morning, I received an apology but little else, which felt dismissive given the disturbance

It’s a majestic and beautiful property which has been tastefully decorated. We stayed in the family room (2 adults and a teenager) and it was huge and lovely. The only criticism would be about the bathroom…the shower pressure and no shelving in the shower or bath to put your products on (very minor though). We can’t speak highly enough of all the staff from the reception, to the restaurant/breakfast and bar. A special mention to Brendan who made one of the nicest Espresso Martinis I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.

The room was latge and comfortable, although a second chair would have been nice. the shower room was a tiled wet-room, but there was no shower mat, although one was quickly provide when asked. Excellent food, but it looked like the evening menu didn't change very often.

Breakfast was very fresh and a good selection of fruit The whole hotel was very clean and elegantly finished The standard internal room was very big walk in wardrobe seating area with desk and tv smart bathroom large bedroom luxury bed and tv the spa was lovely warm jaccuzi and swimming pool steam room and sauna lots of treatments on offer staff very polite and helpfull

Great place to stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dinner here was fantastic. One of the best waiter services I have experienced in a long time. Shout out to Olga, amazing lady, top notch service.

Excellent breakfast. Great staff. Pity the room only overlooked a wall at the back but that was the only downside. I'd stay here again.

Lovely time at this hotel. Wonderful helpful staff, we opted to use the spa facilities and to be honest it could do with a bit of a facelift in there. But the rest of the hotel was lovely and our room was stunning. Beautiful location on beautiful grounds as well

Great, clean rooms. Lovely, ambient decor. Lovely food...compliments to the chef (we booked a table both nights. Staff were all helpful and welcoming thankyou to Sharon, Joanne, Cam, Sophie and highly proffesional Linda and everyone whos name we didn't get. Only at a push i would say the only let down would be cleanliness of the plates at breakfast,
